Looks like stock. My only problem is that the supplied cable was too short, and I didn't want to daisy-chain cables. With some patience and a jeweler's screwdriver, I was able to first separate the plug holder from the housing, and then was able to get the cable out without breaking anything. Then I was able to put in a more robust USB cable with the length I needed, using some superglue to secure it. Reassembled, and it looks like it's always been there.

I was looking for an additional USB port to add to my center dash for the 4runner since it had 2 additional slots that were not in use. I did some research on the 4th gen 4runner forums and found a link for this USB port. Overall I am very pleased with it as it does just slide and click right in the factory ports on the center console dash. My plan with this was to have it be a nice factoryish looking connection for my Apple Carplay via USB cable from my aftermarket stereo. So the little port worked for charging my phone BUT it unfortunately was not enough data speed for my stereo to see my phone's connection and enable Carplay. Instead of sending it back and just running a USB cable out of my dash, I was able to take the USB port apart and superglue in a USB female to male cable using the same port housing, faceplate and the same clips. Great product and is plug and play for a 2008 4runner USB port BUT at least in my situation, using a Sony XAV-AX3250 head unit, it was not enough for Apple Carplay to work on its own. Highly recommend if you just want a factory looking USB port and less cable clutter. Quality is fine but not amazing. Fitment is just like factory DAC (Downhill Assist Control) button with about a quarter of an inch gap around but definitely not loose by any means.

Fits in the empty slots of an FJ Cruiser. Unfortunately, the cable isn’t able to support Apple CarPlay as it constantly drops connection. If you’re only looking to charge your phone, this usb port would work.

Bought this to finish off a pioneer radio install that supports Android auto (USB plug-in required). Installed this on a 2006 Toyota 4Runner. Took out a factory blank and this fit in perfectly. Up to this point it's fully operational as well. I purchased the 42mm size. My only concern is the durability. When I plugged in my USB cable it was a very tight fit. But I don't plan on removing the USB cable so I don't expect it to be an issue.

Don’t waste your money on this low quality garbage. I’ve purchased two of these now, hoping the first one that failed prematurely was just a fluke, but the second one failed within a few weeks as well. They look amazing, and give a clean OEM appearance to your aftermarket head unit installation, but that’s where the good ends. Shortly after installing my head unit I started having erratic connectivity issues and incorrectly assumed the problem was with the head unit. It was a maddening and frustrating situation, until I discovered the problem was this cable. So I foolishly ordered another one and sure enough, a few weeks after replacing it, the exact same connectivity issues returned. If this cable was acceptable quality, it would be an excellent solution to the problem of making your aftermarket stereo appear OEM, but alas, it is not. As the saying goes, if your aunt had balls, she’d be your uncle. If this cable worked it would be awesome, but it’s not awesome because it fails prematurely.

The unit works as advertised, can charge and transmit data, therefore works with carplay. The switch Fits Toyota FJ Cruiser. Built quality is not superb, I can see glued components and they are kinda weak. But your not gonna move it around I guess.

It would be nice if the usb cord it comes with was longer but the stereo comes with one If you have a FJ the plugs just pop out with a small screw driver you don’t have to take it all apart once you have the stereo out it’s easy to feed it down to hook inn

What received does not fit my 2010 rav4 as others gave said. The pictures others have left in their feedback is not the same size as i received. Not sure if they have changed manufacturer’s or if i was just shipped the wrong one. What i received is narrower and taller than Toyota blanks.
