They even come with spring-loaded valves to help from water leaking all over when taking them out old filter! Turning off the water is not required and the water filtration system even includes a purge filter timer, to let you know how long to run the water to get rid of carbon fines! Everything from installing to maintaining has been well thought out and made of excellent quality! As you can tell I'm a very happy customer and I've been using this same filtration system for over 2 years now with no problems.
