Product Review: [TM150 & TM80 Speaker System]I ​Overall Impression ​Right out of the box, I was immediately impressed with the appearance and overall fit and finish. These speakers have a classy look and a premium aesthetic that will complement any home décor. While the build quality is somewhat modest—the MDF is thinner than I would expect—the phenomenal sound quality completely makes up for it. For the price point, this system is an absolute winner. ​Sound Quality and Performance ​These speakers are loud with very little audible distortion, delivering an excellent acoustic experience across the frequency range. ​Highs & Mids: The dome tweeter and mid-range drivers deliver crisp, clean highs, ensuring clarity in dialogue and effects. ​Bass: The built-in subs produce deep, rich bass that is impactful and powerful. ​Home Theater Application ​I am currently using this system in a 7.2.4 Dolby Atmos home theater configuration, utilizing a pair of TM150s for the right and left fronts and two pairs of TM80s for the surrounds and rears. My center channel also utilizes a powered sub (from a different manufacturer). I have 2 12 inch powered subs for the lowest frequencies. After setup and calibration, I tested the system with the 4K movie Final Reckoning. I was absolutely floored by the sound quality. The separation was distinct and noticeable, the highs were sharp and crisp, and the deep rumble of the bass was enough to shake the windows, completely surpassing my expectations for a system at this price. ​Features and Versatility ​The system is highly versatile, offering great standalone features that add to its value and fun factor. ​Bluetooth Connectivity: The Bluetooth connectivity was seamless and straightforward to set up. The signal was strong and provided good range. ​FM Radio: The FM radio plays as expected, also with a good, strong signal reception. ​Karaoke: The karaoke feature was loads of fun. Connecting a separately purchased microphone and pairing a tablet via Bluetooth (using Amazon Music for music and lyrics) allowed us to mirror the lyrics to the big screen for a group activity. ​Noted Issues ​I did encounter one minor manufacturing issue. I accidentally plugged RCA cables into the wrong input on one set of the TM80's Aux 2 terminals. When I pulled the cables out, the terminals pulled right out with them. I had to use a pair of pliers to separate them from the cables. Fortunately, this did not affect the use of the other terminals, and all other functionality is still intact. Sending the speakers back for such a small issue would have been more trouble than it was worth. ​Final Verdict ​Hardcore audiophiles might scoff at a budget system like this, but for the average person looking for great, powerful sound without breaking the bank, this system is highly recommended. It is versatile, powerful, and aesthetically appealing—a perfect standalone system for great sound on a budget. I was unable to add a video and pictures. I kept getting an error.

I bought this speaker set to complement my projector and create a full home movie theater experience — and it absolutely delivered! The sound is rich, powerful, and crystal clear, with deep bass that really brings movies to life. The setup was super simple, and the build quality feels premium. Easy set up sounds great

I purchased the TM150. I’ll say this: the speakers are well built and stout and solid. They are heavy. About 20-25lbs. The sound quality is very clear. No distorting. If you like bass, there’s pletty to pump some wattage in the cottage. Hooking it up is very simple. Just follow directions. I think I’d give them a 4.2 to be fair. Sure there is better, but a good bang for the buck. I’m not a gamer, but if I was…ohhh yeah…these rock! I saw a few videos of complaints like a broken sun cover. Leave it on!!!! It’s there for a reason, duhhhh. I also think the front speakers should come with a cover for added protection as optional. I have one complaint - I don’t care for the eq but that’s just me. I’ve never had a connectivity issue. I run the optic cable. Get a decent one or good RCA cables. Other than that, man, turn it up and Bang your Head!

When we initially got these speakers they were great they provided stellar sound and we were very happy with them. After roughly a month they just stopped working. We got a new optical cable thinking perhaps it was an issue on our side, no dice. So I contacted customer support. They asked us to return the speakers. Now these things are massive and they cost almost 80 bucks to ship back to them. They said they would pay for it however I've yet to see compensation. It took almost 2 months to even get that response from them. They would not provide a prepaid label. They said they would issue a refund however they set a second set of speakers out without communication about a month later. (To be fair I did say we liked these speakers and would love to keep them I just wanted them to work) They came beat up and dinged. The fabric and plastic on one side was beat up and broken. They worked for one day. I turned them off after use the first night via the remote and they have not produced sound since. I've checked all connections and tried it with multiple TVs and settings. The optical cord does work as I've also check that against other tvs. These are just a dud ... now I'm out the price of the speakers AND the 80 bucks I spent to return the first set. If I were you I would maybe stay away. They did have great quality when they worked. This was a huge disappointment. Edit... Idk what 2 years later? I never got my shipping money back I never got my speakers working and they I think are hanging out in the garage collecting dust. Biggest waste of money and time please don't buy from these people.

I ordered the sound system. A week later, the sound system arrived. Upon unboxing of the product, I noticed that a top speaker was dislodged from it's hole in the top of speakerbox. This speaker was found damaged, at the bottom of the plastic wrap. (see images 1 and 2) I thought this may be something I could fix, so decided to plug it in anyway, to see how it sounds. I plugged the power unit into an known good outlet and device did NOT power on. I tried power via a different outlet, and another. No power from any known good outlets. The power supply is broken. As per my explanation of the issue, Rockville agreed to cover shipping costs for both send and receive, after I located a pick up location. Fortunately, after re-boxing this item, a local Walgreens took the package, as they are aware the next closest freight center is/was over an hour away. The FedEx driver picks up package. About a week later, my new system arrives. This product is/was also deficient. The second arrival was missing components: no sound-speaker connector cable, no remote, no speaker feet. I contacted the seller support center again, sharing with her the missing components and my utter disgust with how they've handled this issue, twice now, offering a damaged product and then not providing ALL of the missing components. A few weeks ago, SOME of the missing components arrived. Rockville sent the connector cable and the speaker feet but the feet are missing hardware (bolts) to attach them to the speakers and I have yet to receive the system remote control at this time. Also of note, I have NOT received any warranty info to fill out, as was requested. I was very upset and have given this vendor an opportunity to redeem themselves, but it's been two months since I'd ordered this device and STILL do not have a complete unit. Missing components include: Remote control, speaker feet hardware, warranty info. Based on Rockville's actions and lack of actions over the past two months, defective merchandise and the inability to correct their deficiencies, I am beyond requesting the missing components be expedited, I want a full refund on this unit, paid in full, at no cost to myself. Update >> It has now been fourteen weeks (three months, two weeks) since I'd ordered this unit. I remain w/out a complete unit and they continue to placate me with happy smiles and 'sincere' apologies, while informing me the 'part' (remote) is still unavailable. These acts are symptoms of a criminal enterprise. Do not buy any Rockville products. You will be pushed down the line until the 30day refund policy has expired, they will placate you with fake boilerplate apologies until you cave and say eff it and give up. DO NOT BUY ANY PRODUCT FROM THIS COMPANY!!! On January 5th, it will be four months since I'd ordered the unit. It came to me damaged and they wanted me to pay shipping to get it back. The second unit that came was still missing components. They continue to placate me with lies and now insult me, insinuating that I'd missed components (from an empty box, no less)! They will screw you, lie to you and since the shipping/return process takes time, your warranty expiration will expire. Then you'll be in the boat I'm in, screwed waiting for a complete unit. Good luck. Heed this warning. This company will screw you. The positive reviews are most-likely from in-house paid employees. Good luck. Don't say I didn't warn you!

I've had these for many months now and I'm ready to write a real review. First, the set that was sent to me didnt work. It was a huge bummer for me. I bought these specifically for my gaming rig and I needed a good subwoofer and these seemed to fit the bill. When it came to the return process, it was very straight forward and they paid for everything. The company was very responsive when it came to my emails and they were very nice throughout the whole process. I haven't had a single issue with the new speakers and they sound absolutely amazing. I have actually started using them over my BOSE for listening to music and am thinking about getting another set. For gaming they are perfect. The FM radio sucks so if you want it for that look elsewhere as it hardly picks up any stations. However everything else about them is awesome. Sound is crystal clear. Consider me impressed. EDIT: Year in now and STILL impressed
