Worked for Me
The reason I needed this- besides looking a bit unfinished- there was a slight draft between the joint of my wall boards and the Beam - it’s an old house so the insulation may be under par so I do the best I can filling the gaps so to speak. Anyway I wish the color was a little darker but the caulk did its job (I might try a little paint since you can paint it- or maybe not decide tomorrow) - I took a couple pictures before and alter and despite a slightly sloppy caulking job on my part but it looks much better- the good news it’s a bit up there so no one is going to notice the sloppy job but me. I must admit I lean towards DAP on all my chalk - is it the best ? Not sure but I am never disappointed and the cost is good, so I stick with what works!

Cedar Siding’s Best Friend
Just what is needed to fill any gaps in Cedar Siding stained Redwood. It truly holds up in the temperature extremes found in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. I’ll be buying more come summer but for now….a great though often hard to find locally product for a good price! Thank you, Amazon!
