Just gently remove all of the wires and put them back on in this order: There is one plug that is different probably brass or copper looking. Black goes there, next to it goes red and the last one is yellow. Red and black go to the power source (battery, whatever). Yellow goes to whatever your powering along with black as well. Black is negative and red and yellow are positive. Other than the learning curve they are good switches and easy to install in the same size hole as a cigarette lighter hole so pretty universal.
