We ran a continues ping and unplugged our switch, plugged it back in and connection was restored. We also unplugged the fiber cables to break the connection, and after plugging them back in the connection was restored. Finally, we unplugged the converter, and after plugging it back in, again, the connection was immediately restored. We also ran a ping overnight to test for any dropped packets, none were reported.
