Gassing fermentations to 0% Oxygen using Nitrogen and Argon - the air going through the unit is humid and has some alcohol, so it is hard on the unit. Any time the units have had issues, the customer service has been excellent and they have replaced units even after warranties expired. Review: Purchased this a year ago for our NMR room. We have a large tank of liquid nitrogen that often tends to vent in a closed room. Therefore, it is helpful to know before entering the room what the conditions are. I have to say, for a small room, it's not super sensitive, even if you wear it on your person. After a year, the battery needed replacement and continual replacement afterwards. After replacing the battery and recalibration, it wouldn't read the correct O2 percentage for the room. I like the overall design. To set up/calibrate/maintain is not easy.
