Rubies Scooby-Doo: Scooby-Doo Costume for Kids, Unisex Toddler

I bought this for my 4 year old Scooby fanatic as her Halloween costume this year and she loved it so much that she continues to wear it around the house. The costume is made of very soft material and is high quality, especially considering how cheaply made most of the costumes on the market are these days. I was amazed at how nice it really is. The hood features Scooby's face on the top and Scooby's collar has velcro on the back and once closed, it secures the hood onto your child's head. The feet of the costume are open on the bottom with elastic straps to fit around the child's shoes so the feet won't get all scuffed up as he/she is trick or treating.I bought the medium size based on other people's reviews that it is cut small. My daughter is about 42" tall and according to the sizing chart in the item photo, a small should've fit her, but I purchased the medium just in case (intended for heights between 50-54" tall) and was so happy I did. It was a little big on her and some of the fabric bunched a little above the feet, but it's better to be a bit big than too small. Even though it was a little big, it didn't drag on the ground at all and it kept her warm while trick or treating on a chilly night. We love this costume and highly recommend it, just go up one size from what it says would fit your child.

I was concerned because another review mentioned that they did not get the same item that is pictured (although they did not mention which seller they purchased from). I purchased this costume from Potter's Gifts. Before I placed my order I contacted the seller to make sure it was in fact the same costume that is in the photo. The seller sent me all the information I needed to be comfortable with my purchase.I am very pleased with this costume. My son was so excited to get it. He put it on immediately. He normally wears a 4T so purchased the size "small". It fits well now with some extra room to grow so that he will be able to wear it next year. (We had tried the toddler size on him at a local store and it was a bit small).I think he'll be wearing some between now and next Halloween, as a special treat. It looks like it is well made and will hold up well. I did notice the zipper sticking a little, so I rubbed a bar of soap on the zipper and then zipped and unzipped a few times. It was cute and well made for the most part. The only thing that kind of stunk was that the hood was a little small where ur face would go. So my daughter didn't like having the hood up. But I did get a little bit bigger size for her so it could have just been that she wasn't big enough for it to fit correctly. Either way she had a blast wearing it for boo at the zoo

This costume is a really nice costume. The material is not too thick - which is nice because the kids can wear warmer clothes underneath and not get too hot. One big thing to note before you buy - choose one size BIGGER. This runs really SMALL. I first ordered a child's small (4-6) for my 4 year old normal size child - 35 lb, 43in tall. The hood barely pulled over his head and when it did - it caused the rear of the costume to give him a "wedgy". I reordered the medium, which says it's a 8-10. I don't know any 8-10 that could wear this. The 8-10 fit my son perfectly and he wears a size 5 in normal clothes.

I was very disappointed in this item. It is absolutely not what is advertised in the picture. Not only does it NOT look like scooby-doo, it is very cheaply made. The sizes run extremely small. I ordered a size 4-6 and my 4 year old that wears 4t pants and 5t shirts, he tried it on and it looked like a 3T rather than a 4-6. I was not impressed by any part of this item. I did receive a refund, however the $12.44 that I had to pay to ship it back, was not refunded. So because they falsely advertised this item, I am out $12.44. It shouldn't have cost me anything, considering the sizes were way off and the item was not even close to what the picture is showing. I can't believe these company's are able to use a picture that isn't what they are selling. They should have to take a picture of the exact item, instead of use a picture of what they tried sew up themselves. It honestly looked like someone pulled out their sewing machine from home and used a cheap, very thin, fleece semi-look alike material and some felt and attempted to make a scooby-doo costume. Scooby had not chin or mouth and under the nose there was pieces of thread coming loose where someone stuffed the head and hand sewed it shut. The poor scooby head looked like a rat or a daschund (except daschund's are cuter.)
