I recently installed the Philips Hue White and Color Ambiance 6" Downlight in my living room, and I am beyond impressed. The setup was super easy, especially with the compatibility for Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit, and Google Assistant. I had it up and running within minutes! I like these lights. I have 8 of them divide into a group of 6 and a group of two in my basement. You can control them with a regular light switch, but they work better with the remotes (sold separately) and work best with the app. It should be noted that if you use them with a traditional switch, you can only turn them on and off and the light’s temperature will not be saved. You have no other control of the lights features. The app unlocks all of the lights features. The remote turns the lights on and off and can dim them. The lights were installed on my unfinished ceiling using cans. There was no need to use drywall. They secured right in the cans. They were very easy to install and also add to add and group in the app. The app allows you to group the light, adjust their temperature, color and brightness and even use preset moods. I like them. They are very modern and give you a lot of control options. I used them in a new install on an unfinished ceiling, but I am sure that they can be used in remodels as well. I am very happy with these lights.

these last forever, they look spectacular in the ceiling and they’re so easy to install. I made the mistake of first buying all the bulbs and putting them in the high hats. It didn’t look right it was a large waste of money and these are a fraction of the price and you get the whole frame in the bold built in and it looks phenomenal. Definitely highly recommend these.

Installed these in our kitchen as part of a slight refresh to the space. These can get very bright but also dim down very low. It offers tons of color options and works well with the hue app on an iPhone. It also works seamlessly with voice commands and the hue switch that I installed. Installation is also pretty easy. The only negative is that these can be pretty expensive. I bought (5) of them for the space we had and was glad I got them on sale.

I have probably 50+ smart devices in my home and started the journey way back when they all first came out. After SO MANY other competitors and options I bit the bullet and went with this. They are MUCH more stable than anything I have used. Not a single disconnect or issue after several power losses to the home. They are bright, the color is spot on, and it works seamlessly with Alexa, Smartthings, and the app on the phone. I've replaced nearly every recessed light in my home and found the fit to be MUCH more snug (the spring-loaded options on other lights hang out of the hole slightly and just don't look as good). The color range is much wider on these as well. They are absolutely more expensive than some other brands, but they are also worth the investment to make your life easier. Trust me. I cant recommend these enough!

Works just like intended you do need to have that E 26 adapter so It can work. Aside from that it works with your command, Phillips command thing. So it syncs up to whatever shows you’re watching if you have a modern TV like an LG C4 like I have and honestly, the lighting is out of this world lights of the entire room.

I purchased these to add to the 40+ other Hue lights around my house. These were the perfect solution for our covered patio as the closed design will prevent the issue we had with wasps, bees, etc. flying into the open housings. Outside of the initial physical installation, setup in the Hue app was a breeze. The colors are vibrant although- in my opinion- not quite the same as the color ambiance bulbs in our regular recessed cans. As for the installation, I wish the instructions showed a bit more on how these lights are held in place to assist in the installation process. After about 15 minutes of trial and error, we got them in and they've held in place without any drooping so far.

Las lámparas llegaron en tiempo, la instalación es sencilla, yo por el tipo de instalación que tengo necesito usar un socket sencillo para conectarlo, las lámparas tienen una especie de aspas que le dan anchura o se reduce, se sienten de gran calidad y el tiempo de respuesta es muy bueno. Un punto a considerar es que por el diseño puede verse una ligera sombra, es normal que se vean así, además se pueden hacer cosas adicionales para empotrarlas de forma más precisa. El precio es elevado como todo lo de la línea Philips hue, sin embargo tienen mucha calidad en el diseño y los materiales, vale mucho la pena.
