This is a very well made piece. Excellent quality and composition with all the additional modern features you would want, very easy to use Bluetooth mode, recharges batteries, and a USB drive player as well.Speaker is very clear, gets quite loud for it's size, will fill any room it's in, excellent Bluetooth and radio reception, isn't too big or small, easy portability, feels very sturdy to set down anywhere, and it's all set into a very good looking, modern yet retro aesthetic.Affordable price, clear technical owners manual, very good packaging as well.Hardest part might just be choosing the color.Overall, highly recommend.

This cassette recorder/player far exceeds my expectations. The sound is outstanding when playing cassettes, or USB. The radio reception is good. I was able to pick up several short wave stations on both bands, though I won't use that function often. I recorded successfully from cassette to USB, and the sound is very good. I connected to Bluetooth with no problem.The buttons for the cassette functions work very well. Overall, I would say that it is an attractive, well made quality product. I owned several name brand recorder/players years ago, and this player is at least as good as they were. I definitely recommend it.

Have only had the product for a few days but so far I am very impressed for the money. First, the directions are poorly written and as far as I can tell, there is no way to check the charge status of the internal rechargeable battery, so that’s annoying. Second, the sound quality could be just a hair better, it’s slightly tinny. With that said the volume can be deep and loud and the sound is very decent.The product also looks great, super old school with the moving needle and everything and cool handle for portability. I am most impressed by the ability to easily record ANY song straight from your phone via bluetooth onto a cassette. That feature is so rad and easily my favorite part, so worth the money.EDIT: The products internal battery is completely shot after owning this for less than a year. I have attempted to contact Amazon and the seller for support multiple times to no avail.

Even better than expected. One of our coolest purchases for our new home. Able to be plugged in, charged and played cordless, or used with batteries. Bigger than expected, in a good way. Well worth the money. Great sound quality.

This thing seems very adequately sturdy. The size is just right. The speaker is basic, it sounds like I expected. The volume knob is very sensitive; it gets really loud with hardly being turned. The cassette player has a soft eject which is nice; the door doesn't open up very wide so it's going to be a trick getting a Q-tip to the playing head to clean, maybe I can find a cleaning cassette. I wish the radio dial and VU meter were backlit. I wish it had blue tooth for headphones, but it does have a jack. There were no surprises, good or bad, that I ran across; all the features and no-features were listed before I purchased this. A more reasonable price would be in the $25-$30 range. I paid too much, but I was aware of the price all along.UPDATE #1: I had forgotten that this unit has an included internal rechargeable battery; this battery is seeming to last quite a long time. I've charged it up once, and am still using its power. My main use is the radio and not the cassette player, but I've used that feature a little bit also. UPDATE #2: 11/13 Alas, the internal battery wouldn't recharge after using it once (full charge about a week ago, then died yesterday and wouldn't recharge at all). I returned this unit. I was upset because this otherwise was a great unit.

I recently received the Audiocrazy Retro AM/FM/SW/Cassette Player & Recorder portable unit [it's not a boombox] and most impressed so far I am. It is the first time since 1984 I had something similar to this unit and that was a Toshiba unit similar to this one, but lacked the 2 SW bands, VU Meterand rechargable battery this unit has.This portable unit has AM/FM/SW 1-2/Cassette Recorder/Player unit, VU Meter [should be called power level meter instead], Bluetooth/USB connections, Volume & Bass controls, carrying handle FM/SW antenna, built in mic, cassette tape smooth ejection drawer, headphone jack, auto-stop feature on this cassette player/recorder and uses AC/Rechargable battery or 4 "D" batteries.Sound qualities with this unit seems rather good for a small unit as it's not stereo and has just one 4 inch speaker, about like the prior units like these back in the late 1970's into the mid 1980's l had before. Radio reception is OK, better on FM than AM, but I don't listen to AM radio much anyways.Overall I am quite surprised and impressed by this unit and hope it lasts quite awhile and I am rating this as a 5/5 at this time. I may get another one as these seem quite well-made.

Product seemed really shoddy overall and the audio was warped on many different tapes. The sound quality from the speaker however was decent, but the cassette player was just no good.

I bought this just to get my feet wet when it comes to recording cassette tapes. It only left me wanting more. Recording bluetooth is a nice concept, but the static is louder than the recording itself sometimes. The usb is the main way to get a quality recording, but I really wish there was at least an aux chord so I can record my own stuff and have more control over the sound going in
