They are very durable and portable!
Why did you pick this product vs others?: My husband had a stroke a couple of months ago. Presently he is unable to walk, so I needed two ramps to get him to and from the house. I was quoted two estimates for having ramps built. They quoted $1200 and $1000. I can’t afford that. So I bought the two Aluminum portable ramps. They work great, and cost me about half what the contractors charge. Plus, I am hoping that my husband will regain the ability to walk again. If he does, then I can take the ramps and put them away. Also, they are portable so, I can take them anywhere I want to. Definitely a better option.

Portable Ramp
This ramp is perfect for getting over curbs, out of doorways, over rough terrain. We keep it in the van because we never know when we will need it! Great purchase! Very sturdy and easy to use.

Excellent Ramp
Great ramp. Needed this to get my disabled wife into and out of the house with a wheelchair after she had shoulder surgery. We have 3 steps into the house and used both manual and electric wheelchairs. Extremely heavy duty, does not sag even with both of us on it including a wheelchair. It's pretty heavy, but I can move it around easily, I'm 58 years old and weigh about 150 lb. Easy to fold up too.

Expectations not met
So far holding up, though I don't use it very much. Not sure if it would hold up to every day use. I purchased it to use with my company vehicle to help load and unload equipment and supplies and use with a dolly. I will say, the slip resistant grip is quite good. Once it is completely unfolded and in position it seems a little flimsy to walk on especially near the center hinges there is a LOT of bowing, but walking on the regular path is a little sketchy as well. Watching my workers walk up and down at raises my anxiety and fears that it will buckle, at some point because it bends and bounces near the center of the ramp horizontally a little more than I think it should. That part could just be me being overly cautious. Also when folded up it is quite heavy to lift in and out of the van. So in conclusion, I don't think I would order this again.

Great quality!
Very, very heavy and a little awkward to open up and place, but because of that, it’s VERY stable and safe.

Sturdy, fits doors of older (and therefore modern homes, too)
When you need a ramp for a wheelchair, you need one that feels sturdy and safe and that fits your doors. My home was built in the 1950s. Its exterior (and interior) doors are not quite as large as those of more modern houses. I had borrowed a ramp but it was at least a half inch too wide for my doors and using it was going to cause damage. This lovely ramp to the rescue! It's heavy, but not too heavy. It's easy to set up and take down. I'm storing it in its box when not in use and am sure it will last many years!
