Costly, but no other alternative is available. I had to replace it because my last one broke after 3 years of use. I wish they would work on the quality, as the Jar is made of very thin glass, and it's not fun when it breaks.

Had to replace glass Carafe (changed my review to 5 stars)
My previous (2) Star review comments ,below, were based on a misunderstanding. It was thought that the replacement carafe I ordered was damaged in shipping and not the sellers responsibility.The seller reached out to me and after the confusion was cleared up, offered to refund the cost of the carafe or send a free backup replacement. The seller/Bluevua is addressing the issue of the carafe quality with their manufacturing. I have no issues with the R.O. machine it self. After 18 months of use it still performs flawlessly. Finally and easily just changed the filters. I highly recommend this R.O. machine.I've had this R.O. system for 1-1/2 years already and really like it, But the down size is the cheaply made glass carafe. I've replaced it twice already at my expense. The seller takes no responsibility for this defect.They pass you off to Amazon help.
