Always been a go-to for exterior wood.Not sure if it is the same formula it used to be, but it repels water on our siding and stays clear. You can't spray it on easily so use a good, stiff brush and a roller for larger areas. We will see how it holds up on our 1 year outdoor seasoned pine. I like that it allows the wood to "Weather and fade" .
