I use these bags for our staple cheddar. If you carefully fold the bags, they can easily last for 4 - 6 weeks. The cheese doesn't sweat and stays fresh. There's just the 2 of us but we are cheese lovers so the bag is open daily. One set will easily last a year. Worth it!

I was a little sceptical of these bags but saw a good write-up in a foodie magazine, so decided to give them a try. So far only used them on a block of everyday cheddar cheese, but the cheese has stayed wonderfully fresh and not dried out on any of the edges as it normally would. Not cheap, but if they save cheese they will quickly pay for themselves.
