Review: Improves texture, appearance, color in a way that normal healing cannot - Recommend this to anyone who has gotten a scar to help its appearance. How this worked for me was that it minimized the red pigmentation that my scar left behind extremely quickly and improved the texture and appearance in a way that simply leaving the scar alone wouldn't have. Maybe the best way to describe it is to say that it helps scar tissue blend in with normal skin in texture and appearance. I have recommended this to many friends and all of them agree that it helped minimize the appearance and hyperpigmentation. -I fell onto concrete and got scrapes on my face. The scars were distinctly pink. It took 2 weeks to remove the discoloration. Now, I have trouble telling where those scars are-they pretty much look like skin. -Friend got a gash on her face and the scar dipped in and was red. She was so embarrassed and tried to cover it with bangs. After using this product, the scar is still dipped into the skin but the redness has completely subsided. It took her a month. I think her scar ended up too deep for the product to completely "level" the skin, but she's extremely happy with the result. -Friend is a cook and got multiple burns and scars from her or people around her being careless with knives, fire, or boiling oil. She is not good at using this as frequently as she should be but she has noted an improvement in the appearance and believes that it would help if she was more proactive about applying it.... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ -Friend is prone to hyperpigmentation and uses this on all scars to minimize the appearance. The cap with the bristle is useless. The product clumps up in the bristles and application becomes difficult. Instead, keep the red stopper and original cap and apply this almost as if it's a rollerball perfume, being careful to leave a layer and not to spill product. It smells pretty bad but the smell goes away in a minute or two. Apply to an area wider than the scar because the edges will fray up. I've found that makeup application over the dried layer is pretty much impossible. I instead put a bandage on my cheek to keep the film in place while going about my daily activities and in 2 weeks, the scar appearance had minimized to my liking. I applied two times a day, morning and before sleep. Do not apply on wounds that are still healing-wait for scabs to come off too. I've found that leaving the scab on for as long as possible helps improve the appearance and texture too. I always keep a spare bottle on hand so that if I get hurt, I can use it on the very first day that the wound heals completely!
Review: Scars looking much better- and pimples healing faster! - I'm about to order my 4th bottle. Another reviewer said to keep and use the small, red plug and cap without the brush that it comes with, and I completely agree. The red plug will keep the product from drying out inside the bottle (it will definitely dry up in the bottle the more it is exposed to air.) Another person said that when you use this stuff you will find flakes all over your house- So true! I am sweeping them up all the time. Anyways, how it works- I have acne scarring, and used silicone scar sheets for about 2 years straight before turning to this product. Silicone sheets work best if you keep them on for 24/7- not something you can do on your face, so you sleep with them, and talk about finding things everywhere! I was always looking for them in my bed! Stuck to my pillow, stuck to my hair..stuck to my sweeties body!!! So weird. And I didn't really see results from them that I wanted. After trying this product, I've noticed a lot of improvement! It seems to be softening the sharp edges of my scars, and some of my shallow scars are completely gone. My skin in general seems to be better. It's not 100% but there is enough improvement so far that I want to keep going. I apply it every night, and scrub it off in the morning. I actually put lavender EO on my face, then evening primrose oil, then my Skinmedica Retinol, THEN I apply the Scarguard on top of my scarred areas. It dries even on top of all my other products. In the morning, it takes a bit of scrubbing to get it off, but its worth it. AND- the best thing about it that I have noticed...It seems to speed up healing of pimples!! It stings like a mofo, but it definitely makes pimples heal up in only a few days (and so far any zits I have covered with this have healed without a scar, and redness seems to disappear faster too!) Wish I had discovered this years ago when I had bad acne.

## Features

- Silicone sheets work but are ugly. Scarguard is a real silicone sheet you paint on. It dries in seconds to an invisible silicone nano-sheet and also delivers Vitamin E. Many scar creams are onion extract. Others are silicone creams. They rub OFF… NOT IN. Studies show sheets work MUCH better, but only if you can actually use them. Make your silicone sheet easy and invisible!
- The #1 technology choice of plastic surgeons and dermatologists, Scarguard paints-on, cleans the skin, and immediately dries to an invisible nano-sheet that you can even cover with makeup. Use to reduce scarring after the skin heals over or on old scars that are overgrown.
- Shrink Old Raised Scars or Newly Forming Scars - Apply this scar gel twice daily after wound closes to help avoid unsightly scarring or shrink old scars. Scarguard silicone scar removal liquid can be applied to treat a range of unsightly scars. This includes keloid scar removal, c section scar treatment, scar treatment for surgical scars, tummy tuck recovery, etc.
- Used by Plastic Surgeons and Dermatologists Worldwide - These specialists know that Scarguard makes their work look better. This scar treatment is dispensed after surgery or injury in doctors' offices worldwide and is a preferred choice of scar treatment for c section recovery, and as breast augmentation must haves.
- Convenient and Skin Friendly - Unlike scar tape, scar sheets, and surgical tape, scarguard scar liquid does not result in skin rashes, maceration, or foul smell. Not to mention that this brush-on silicone sheet formula is super easy to use.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: my question is do you peel of before applying a fresh layer?**
A: You can do it either way. If you apply over the old layer, it will just become more visible, but will still work. To keep it as invisible as possible, remove the old layer by touching a piece of tape to the film and lifting it off before reapplying. If irritating, just apply over the old layer. - Scarguard Labs

**Q: Hi, my toddler son had 8 stitches along his eyebrow. Is this ok to use over his eyebrow hair? I don't want to harm the hair cells or anything.**
A: Yes, it works very well. The only way that it wouldn't work on the eyebrow is if he lost hair in the injury. That usually does not come back. My son has a small scar in his eyebrow where the hair did not grow back. My daughter has used this product on her face for stitches four times and her scars have Completely healed. It goes on like a thin layer of nail polish at night and wears away by morning. If you use consistently it is a remarkable product.

**Q: Does it treat dark spots from healed acne?**
A: No, not exactly, but, it makes a similar product called" Scar Guard Scar Light", also sold on Amazon by the same seller. This specifically is made for dark spots especially from acne. They also sell "Scar Guard" for bruises, really to make them go away faster. All these products are excellent ! I would try it if I were you..

**Q: Does scarguard MD change a new packing to scarguard labs scar repair liquid? It's different from my last purchase back to a couple months ago.**
A: This is the same product in a newer package.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great idea that seems to work but tiny amount
*by D***H on August 12, 2026*

this stuff is a great idea but it dries a bit too fast at least in dry Los Angeles, flakes off too easy after applying and it's too tiny a quantity. I'd get it again if it wasn't such a small amount though, did seem to actually work.
