Like all Jiva products this is excellent quality and arrived well packed (not leaking 😊) people should note though that this is massage oil, not “food”, but the food products sold by Jiva are excellent quality too

I’ve been using Jiva Organic Mustard Oil for over a month now, and I can honestly say it tastes just like the homemade oil we used back in Nepal. The aroma is strong but pleasant, and it makes curries so flavorful. Definitely a must have in my kitchen now.

This mustard oil seems to be of great quality, the smell is very pleasant and strong tasting as well. My family normally uses Radhuni mustard oil and it’s good too but not as strong as this. We’ve also ordered another brand from amazon, that’s organic. However, that one doesn’t compare to this one. I just wish the price wasn’t that high or else we would be using this more often.

Although in the US it is recommended not to consume mustard oil, in South Asia, mustard oil is the olive oil in the kitchen. I consumed this once and the stomach was set on fire. They do have an external use only label, but this is not how pure mustard reacts with stomach. The smell is too strong. I have harvested & milled pure mustard oil as a farmer myself. This oil's smell is just too strong & I feel like they're trying to infuse the idea that the oil is pure with a stronger aroma. The color is too strong as well. I use it as hair oil and if it gets in touch with the bedsheet, the yellowish mark that it leaves behind can only be removed with a bleach. Good mustard oil isn't that difficult to remove.

It's real mustard oil! It's not mustard flavored oil. It's is very spicy in a good way.

The product arrived quickly, however oil leaked all over the box. Although I felt the price was decent, I lost roughly 10 - 15% of my purchase in transit. I purchased this oil because I read that one of the reviewers stated that a relative used it by messaging their legs and knees with the oil. Since I have troublesome knees I started to do the same before retiring for the evening. It's been less than a week but I can already see and feel an improvement. I can't attest to taste, that's not what I purchased the oil for. I would like to add that I am combining this oil with black seed oil for this nightly message. Perhaps in the next review, I will discuss taste.
