Since my partner is practically confined to the upstairs bedroom, because of her medical condition, I decided an intercom was necessary. This Chtoocy intercom fits the bill very well for the following reasons: - the "phone" style makes it natural to hold and talk; the charger which the intercom sits in, like a phone, has a very small footprint - like a wireless phone, I can take mine to whatever room I go to or when I'm working outside the house - the "Talk" button on the side is comfortable to press when holding the intercom (obviously you can't talk while the other intercom person is talking, but no big deal) - there's also a "VOX" feature which works well so you don't have to push the "Talk" button (it takes a second for the "VOX" to kick in, so make your first word a throwaway, like "gotya") - the audio is clearly discernible and the volume control has a good range - the "Call" button produces an appropriate sound and loudness - we only need one frequency channel, but it's nice to have 9 more for any future plans - it has "MON [ITOR]" and "GRO [UP]" buttons, features we don't need but again it's nice to have for any future plans We recently received it so I can't speak to it's longevity, battery life, or range, but I'm guessing those won't be problems. It looks and feels well made with a simple, clean styling. For me it was a great choice.

I bought these intercoms for my backyard shop. Worked awesome for almost 2 years. Long range and clear sound. Portable is way better. Then one day 1 of the units failed(mic wouldn't work). I immediately contacted Chtoocy and they replaced the unit no hassle or questions real fast. Overall you can't go wrong- they work awesome and if any problems you can count on them to come through. 5 stars.

Purchased a 2pack of these for communication with 2nd house on property my elderly parents live in. I have not tested them out past a couple hundred yards. They work very well and simple to use. Purchased these in March of 2023, one of the batteries started to get hot and swell up so I contacted the seller looking to purchase a replacement battery for the handset. I was informed there were no batteries to purchase. What Chtoocy did was send me a free replacement handset. I call that stellar customer service! Thank You Chtoocy!

I read the ratings on this product and took the chances as it said bad audio can hardly hear what the person talking from other end, I’ve tested it and it sounds great not perfect but it’s good for what I need it for , we were hesitant in getting the set as we were worried about interference from other outside devices and nothing so we are happy with our purchase and I hope others enjoy theirs.
