Replaced my pvc door lock with this, works a treat and has a bonus feature, which is why I bought it. I got the thumb turn version of this lock, which no means I can now unlock the door even if it’s locked from the inside, previously, if the old door was locked from the inside and the key was still in the lock on the inside, I was locked out, or anyone else for that matter, which is fine, unless it’s an emergency, when you actually need someone to get in the house, if you can’t get to the door. Five keys is also a big plus, enough to give 2 to trusted friends or relatives and still have a spare, being dimple lock type keys, they are going to be awkward to spares cut. My only very minor gripe is the key goes in horizontally not vertically, which is actually easier, it just makes my head hurt after so many years of putting keys in vertically. TLDR: Good secure lock, easy to fit, great design with the thumb turn, 5 keys, good price, get one.

This is excellent lock, I had similar one at my front door, but it was not fitted properly so builder changed the lock, but I wasn't happy with the new lock as it was only 1 star and I wasn't sure about safety with that lock, so ordered greenteQ Orion, it took less than 5 min to change the lock cylinder. Only thing is it arrived in damaged packaging.

Odd thing how a euro lock can be made so much better, it’s true that what you pay for is what you get. I had a Yale lock that after several years had started to stick so had a browse and went for it. It’s dearer than the Yale equivalent but worth it. The feel and look of it is superior , fitted easily and the thumb turn is solid and satisfying to use unlike my previous one held by two grub screws cheap and tinny. Keys operation is smooth and easy , but bear in mind the keys being an upgrade re security can only be cut at certain places and backed up by password protection. It comes with 5 keys but I got another 3 cut via Replacement Keys a company on the list. Not much more cost wise than high street key cutter and service was excellent.

Excellent lock and really good quality. It only took a couple of minutes to fit. Everything about this lock feels sturdy, including the keys.

Very easy to replace current Eurocylinder lock with this more secure option. Simplest to just loosen inner door handle screws enough to slide cylinder out after removing cylinder holding screw from the edge of the door and measure exact inside and outside dimensions for your order. May require a little turn of lock to disengage mechanism. Takes 2 minutes to replace with new lock which fits well and operates smoothly. Comes with 10yr guarantee if you maintain lock with dry lubricant. Key is inserted and removed in horizontal position. Good value 3 star kite mark cylinder lock.
