Didn't really increase milk production for me.

Amazing product, works as described good lactation after the use of just one bottle. My wife Kept using even after the milk production was good. Don’t see any side effects as yet using over 2 months. quantity in bottle is less would finish in a week.

Lactation supplement is a very important one if milk secretion is not upto the mark or if more is required. When we were in the hospital for the baby delivery we were given a supplement named 'Galact granules', a supplement which had 8 ingredients and the main ingredient being Shatavari (Asparagus Recemosus 15grams). I was searching for similar lactation supplement and found Mamalait exactly similar and this product Zandu Striveda. This Striveda has 20g of Shatavari a galactogogue which helps increasing milk quantity. Apart from it there are no other beneficial ingredients added like Mamalait which a bit of a let down. This product has increased the lactation to a a certsin level and has helped as we use Hakaa pump which only works when the lactation is good. The milk supply has gone up a bit, not drastically but okay. My wife uses 1.5 teaspoon around 7g to 8g and mixes with warm milk, and drinks twice daily with. Though it says chocolate flavour it doesn't give a very chocolatey flavor but gives slight taste and colour like other lactation supplement. We bought several other products like Mamalait, Galact granules , Merylact granules and this product Striveda is very good but Mamalait is excellent from our experience as updated by my wife. Though it has more (20g) Shatavari than Mamalait (15g) we wish it had other beneficial ingredient like Galact or Mamalait which blended together with Shatavari becomes beneficial for new moms. Overal this is good product considering the quantity for the price and especially the effectiveness in increasing the milk quantity but Mamalait and Galact were much better in our experience.
