One of the best purchases I’ve made. I bought these pair of headphones to be able to focus on office. They get the job done so well. Everything else about these is just perfect - battery, sound quality, touch controls. One thing to note is if you wear glasses the earcups cannot form a proper seal and the ANC won’t work well so it’s a choice between either wearing your glasses or having peace and quiet. Lastly the headphones are base heavy by default, so the music may sound muddy, but it’s easily solvable by custom EQ settings in the Sony headphones app.

PROS: This headphone is the best headphone i ever use, its very fit for ear and u did not feel heat while using it + the best option is the noise cancelling disbale feature which gives in multiple options: 1- u can press the side button to disable and enable. 2- touch it by ur hand and it will auto reduce the music volume and disable the noise canceling so u can hear any sudden speech with a person. 3- auto disable while speaking , once it detect ur voice while speaking with someone, it wil disable the noise canceling automatically and if u stop talking it will re activate the nosie cancelling after 15 sec. in addition, in nosie cancelling diable mode u feel like u are not wearing a headphone as there are multiple surouding speakers voice inputs to feel the outside sounds like nature :D CONS: The only thing i dont like is when u take it out of ur ear and keep it around ur neck its not comfortable othe than that all perfect.

To preface, I did not own the previous iteration of these headphones, the XM4. I did however have the XM3. So most of this review will be a comparisom from the 3 to the 5. That being said, here are my thoughts. Noise Canceling: As always, sony headphones are excellent at Canceling out noise. These headphones have 2 of the noise Canceling chips in them and double the microphones as the XM4. When listening to music the outside world is almost completely silent. Especially lower tones like the running of an engine, whether that be plane or car. Higher, fast tones slip through occasionally but not to any degree that's distracting. I find for the higher tones these headphones are much better than the XM3. Overall the noise Canceling is wonderful and definitely won't disappoint. Sound Quality: I am by no means a professional when it comes to audio. In my own experience I find that these headphones have great sound quality. Better than the XM3 infact. It feels more clear and crisp and the bass has a bit more oomph to it in my opinion. Overall it's great sound and definitely an improvement from the XM3. As said before, I can't compare to the XM4 since I've never had them. Build Quality: This is where the headphones fall a little short. The design, although incredibly comfortable, is rather plastic feeling. It's not cheap feeling plastic, but it's definitely a plastic feeling. They are quite comfortable and I wore them for several hours at a time and never got any pain from them. In addition to the plastic feeling, these headphones also don't fold in on themselves like the previous iterations did. The cups flip over so the headphones can be laid flat but that's it. Subsequently, the included carry case is slightly larger than before. I personally haven't had any qualms with its size but I think it's something to keep in mind. Overall I think these are a fantastic pair of headphones and definitely worth the price if you're coming from the XM3 or earlier. Sound quality, noise Canceling capability, and comfort of the XM5s is just fantastic and its really a premium experience. Although it's kinda plastic feeling I still feel it deserves five stars especially since the only time I notice the plastic is when they're in my hands and not on my head.

This is by the best headphones I have ever bought. The price reflects the quality, but if it’s within reach of your budget or a bit of a stretch more, you would not regret the purchase afterwards. Still have not gone through all the features, functions, and app but based just based off the sound alone I am extremely satisfied

Airpods pro kullanıyordum. iPhone um ile bağlantı kolaylığı yok.

Eu adoro este fone de ouvido, pois além da excelente atenuação dos ruídos externos, você consegue se manter ouvindo as suas músicas favoritas por muito tempo por conta do alto conforto e da duração da bateria. Eu uso óculos e tenho uma cabeça grande e a armação não fica esmagada com os fones, o que acontecia com outros fones de ouvido. É um excelente fone para as viagens de avião, pois atenua perfeitamente os sons e te permite dormir bem. Uso o fone no trabalho também e ele permite manter a conversa na reunião sem a interferência da fala do seu colega ao lado Para tocar guitarra, a conexão com cabos P2 são perfeitas e me permitem ouvir com clareza meus timbres enquanto eu treino. O cabo P2 que acompanha o fone não é grande, mas dá conta do recado se você quiser plugar em um aparelho móvel. Não possui a excelência de timbres que outros fones profissionais de monitoramento possuem, mas para um usuário comum, os timbres são excelentes.
