I picked up this Timpano Bundle in February of 2023 and Installed them that spring. The speakers sound great and have some features that I would have expected only to find in much more expensive products. The t-yolk appears to have a full copper sleeve wrapped around an alloy that seems to be some type of aluminum. This should cut down much of the common distortion that inferior mid-woofers would produce, and I would say that, to my ears, it seems to work very well. About a week ago I was cruising the highway with my system cranked up when I started to hear some distortion coming from one of the Timpano midranges so I decided, maybe I had blown one, which was shocking as I'm only pushing around 100W RMS to them with a 200Hz highpass. So when I got the midrange out I cut it open and inspected the coil but to my surprise, it looked great. I had noticed that I had some trouble getting the coil out and when I looked down at the motor the t-yolk was off-center; the adhesive in the motor failed allowing the magnetic core to separate from the Top Plate. For the price, these Timpanos are a steal, they sound great and perform much better than expected, but I have to question the adhesives used a bit. This is the first time in 25 years of car audio experience I have ever had this kind of failure in a product.

Installed these in my 2004 harley touring. Loud enough with the factory stereo that you cant hear the bike. Nice and clear as well.
