Smells great and confuses mosquitos and works for so many other things
I must be John Cena because the mosquitos cannot see me when I wear this stuff. It smells pleasant to me, very natural, floral and earthy. Be careful when spraying it on indoors if you have pets. It has a very strong scent that comes through. I usually only need to use this twice a day even if I am sweating- it helps to spray not just on skin but also clothing, hats etc. that you wear. Mosquitos will look like they're going to land then go away from me, like they think they smell me but can't find me. Considering I'm 99% positive Satan sent these bloodsuckers for me, it's nice to have them sent back empty-stomached. I have used this products before, but the regular Bug Soother. Both are excellent, but I also use the regular Bug Soother in my shoes before putting them on the boot dryer. Pulls smells out and seems to be a natural antifungal.

God why have you forsaken us with these blood sucking monsters?
It works. I am currently in an area of Florida where Hurricane Ian took out all the creatures that eat mosquitoes and no-see-ums. So these horrible blood sucking insects have multiplied to where they are more than a nuisance. There’s 21 bites just on my arms. I am the one they love and that usually means anyone around me is safe. But my whole family is bit up too. It’s like they’re starving and we showed up just to be their feast. They are ruining our vacation. So I ordered this along with $100 of other things to try. They still approach me when I spray this, but I see them fly away when they get close. Sadly due to their numbers, they are still biting where I haven’t sprayed - like my jaw and toes. And through my shirt! Seriously. Choice words. So it does work where you spray it. And I would suppose that if I wasn’t in a petri dish environment with famished microscopic monsters, it would work even on areas I didn’t spray. The scent is bearable. And I like that it doesn’t have deet. I also sprayed it on my dog’s back to keep them away as he is low to the ground and stirs them up in the grass. I see them fly away from him too. It works but I do have to apply liberally for total repulsion.

Works Well but Needs Reapplication
The Bug Soother Max Extra Strength Natural Repellent does a decent job keeping gnats, ticks, and mosquitoes away, and I really like that it’s DEET-free and made in the USA. The herbal smell is pretty strong at first, but it’s definitely better than the harsh chemical scent most bug sprays have. My only complaint is that you have to reapply it fairly often to keep the bugs away, especially if you’re outside for a long time. Overall, it’s a good natural option and worth it if you want something safer and more eco-friendly.

Works like a charm for the state “birds” of Texas!
I laugh (and want to cry) because I always say the state bird of Texas is the mosquito. They are a nuisance and disgusting. I hate how they make me itch while they land on me and the pesky result of their nasty bites. I had been using a name brand deet-based mosquito repellant for quite awhile but it gave me horrible headaches even though it worked pretty well. I have a neurological condition as well and deet-based products seem to exacerbate the problems! I then went to looking at stores for a deet-free repellant. However if one was deet-free, it had picaridin in it. And I’ve read that picaridin can have some of the same side effects of deet. So I went to Amazon looking for a deet/picaridin-free insect repellant. I was able to find this product and was a little bit skeptical at first when just reading about it only having essential oils. However with my deet/picaridin complications, I figured I had nothing to lose. So I ordered it & when it came in I put some on. I went outside where those nasty little rascals are and they didn’t land on me. I didn’t come in with one mosquito bite. I’m so glad I found this. It has a pretty pleasant smell & is not too overwhelming. Thanks from Texas for making a natural product that works!!!

Works in South Georgia!!
Used it for the first time this month after finding it hidden in my potting bench. 10/10!! I had to reapply it after about 90 minutes because I tend to sweat heavily in the South Georgia humidity but it was the best repellent I’ve ever used. Will definitely be ordering again as soon as this one gets low!

Nice Scent but Not Effective Against Mosquitoes
I recently tried the Bug Soother MAX with high hopes, especially since it's DEET-free and all-natural. However, I found that it didn't work well as a mosquito repellent. I got four bites while using it in my garden, and since I'm severely allergic to mosquito bites, this was a big disappointment. On the positive side, the spray is easy to use, and the scent is much stronger than the regular version, with a strong cedarwood aroma. Surprisingly, despite the strong scent, the mosquitoes still bit me. The scent lasts a long time, but unfortunately, the repellent effect didn't seem to last. I applied it and immediately went to my garden, only to get bitten badly by mosquitoes. While I appreciate that it’s natural and DEET-free, I was hoping to find something effective yet harmless. Unfortunately, it didn’t repel mosquitoes for me. I'll keep the product as a backup to my OFF! spray and might try it again in a less mosquito-heavy situation, like during a daily walk. Overall, I really wished it worked, but it just didn’t in my case, so I have to give it 3 out of 5 stars.

Value for product is good
Great value for the money. Seems to repel ticks. I don’t feel like it works as well with mosquitoes but I would tamer use this than all the chemicals. The smell is great and not harsh on skin.
