I know what dairy I can actually eat without taking Lactaid and what diary my body won't accept even with lactaid so that's no reflection on these pills. Because of the price of Lactaid pills and going through so many of them, I've been buying generic. Yes, I've found them to work just as well for me. This is how my body works. I know people who can't eat a piece of milk chocolate even with a pill. If you're new to trying Lactaid and like diary products, this can be a lifesaver but you're going to have to find your own tolerances as to where the Lactaid works and where it doesn't. It won't be the fault of the pill, it's your body. The reason I bought these is because I finally found a competitive price to the generics without catching a sale price in the store.
