Pretty much junk. I was trying to run a fiber test up a cell tower using an EXFO FTB-1 Pro but kept getting fails at the end of my launch fiber. This would not clean it. Probably due to the poor fit of the plastic adapter at the end. The adapter that aligns either LC or remove it to clean SFP ports. I used a Cletop to clean my launch fiber then went back to work after wasting time with this garbage.

I have a kit full of of cleaners. This one works. I don’t know if I’ll replace it when it’s spent, but it works. The case is a travel toothbrush case with a few tips in it. The click and advance isn’t that smooth when it’s set for short reach, and the tip looks low grade.

I’ve bought multiple LC cleaners from this maker and it’s hit or miss to get one that works, especially until the string is used up. Out of the 4 that I bought recently 2 had bad springs and snapped the string within 30 uses. The third lasted about a 1/3 of what is advertised before the springs stopped functioning and the string snapped.
