Review: A very economical way to easily clean well - Why did you pick this product vs others?: I bought these melamine eraser sponges a while ago and have had the chance to really use it. This is as good as the name brand and so much more economical. When I wear them out – and believe me, though they hold up well, I do wear them out – I happily start another. I use these sponges mostly for cleaning my bathtub, and occasionally walls. It’s a tough job, but they’re up for it. Hold them wrapped in your hand, as they do like to rip – though there’s no reason you can’t hold two ripped parts together and continue scrubbing. I find myself cleaning more often as these are both easy and inexpensive to use.

We have a boat that gets filthy over the winter. Even though it's shrink wrapped it gets all nasty. Usually I clean it with terry cloth towels and Simple Green or other non-bleach all purpose cleaner. This year I ran out of towels, so I grabbed a name brand melamine sponge (let's call it the Bald Guy with Earring Brand). WOW, it worked great. Used that until it fell apart, then got on Amazon & ordered these. These are AWESOME...great quality, great cleaning, and such an incredible value compared to the Bald Guy with Earring brand. Hint: These come in all sorts of different quantities...the more you buy, the better the deal. If you're wondering if these are as good as Bald Guy with Earring - THEY ARE!!!! A+++++
