Stearns Comfort Series Collared Angler Life Vest

internal float foam is about 1.5" thick and not flexible. No "give" for fuller breasted women. Back is thick feeling but something I'm getting used to. For the price I think it's a good jacket.

Fits well and allows free arm movement. Adjustable straps allow for a snug, but comfortable fit. Pockets are large and located in convenient place.

The description reads: "2 large zippered storage pockets, tool pocket, snack pocket, and handwarmer pockets" All it has is 2 SMALL zippered pockets period. If you have very small hands, you might be able to fit your hands in them.... but nothing else. The flotation material takes up all the room! Other than the lack of ANY storage areas, it's a nice vest!

My husband and I are avid fisherman and were looking for a life jacket that would provide safety, yet allow movement. We found just what we were looking for in these jackets. Whereas other life jackets tend to "ride up" and make it difficult to move your arms and turn your head, this jacket stays put. It has several small pockets to carry various tackle, and the mesh shoulders allow more air to circulate to combat the heat. It has extra large arm holes that allow for unrestricted casting. I would have to say it is the most comfortable life jacket I've owned.

Good fit although it is better to go larger than your size (I am medium and bought large) .The pockets are barely big enough for a key chain...Does not qualify for fishing...Good price hence the 3 stars

I bought this for fishing trips. The mesh definately kept me cool, considering I spent about 4 hours in the direct sun. I never felt hot or uncomfortable. Be sure to wear a breathable shirt underneath. It does ride up on your chest, but if you are going to be sitting a lot, you wont even notice it. I didnt test its flotation capabilities, but its OKed by the US Coast Guard, so I would assume it would keep me afloat. A good investment for fishermen, much better than a standard life vest.

Compfy, but I don't like it on...I look rediculous. It fits very short. I gave it to my husband, he doesn't care how he looks.

I was looking for a vest for my wife to wear while kayaking. I was having trouble getting her to wear one as she could not find a comfortable one. I bought a few that didn't quite fit the bill before this one. I actually have one just like this one so even though mine was a bit too big for her she liked it. It does not ride up from the kayak seat and the netting on the top is cooler. Now she has her own that fits properly and if she falls in she just gets wet.
