Does not stay open at 360 deg
The lamp does not hold when opened 360 deg, poor quality of magnets and overall materials. One of the main features is not possible because of this.

Big disappointment for me. This product looks beautiful. I ordered 2 as Christmas gifts for dear friends. But the pages are stiff and will not remain open when lit. Does anyone have a solution? I cannot find a way to reach out to the seller. 12/23/2020 review update I have received 2 upgraded (replacement) lamps from this seller along with their apologies. The magnet to hold “book” open is much stronger & appears to do the job. Thank you, seller, for reaching out to me and replacing my original purchases.

We saw one like this at an art museum in NYC. It was very pricey, so I was glad to find one of a similar design so inexpensive. I don't love supporting Amazon, but here we are.
