This product is definitely better as far as being slimmer batter. The only problem I have is when your phone is low on power to charge it you have to have the external battery turn on and then plug your charger up to charge the phone. If not it will only charge the external battery which is very weird. Also, it doesn’t recognize when you plug to your car for any CarPlay. **VERY DISSAPOINTING**Just got the replacement.
