This rail just as good as I had hoped. I purchased the extendable version and attached to an Ashley adjustable bed with ease. I was hesitant at first because I didn't want to damage any electrical on the underside but the bars fit perfectly and I was able to secure it on either side of the beds motor with an electric screwdriver. Just to note there is no way the included strap (for a standard bed) would work on an adjustable bed. It is very secure and is easily removed. With arthritis in my hands this was a must. Pop it off to make up the bed or tend to your loved one then pop it back on. They don't rise much above a thick mattress, mine is 12 inches, but it is enough to provide fall prevention and security while hanging on to it. I am very pleased with my purchase after studying other bed rail options.

After buying this, I haven’t had as much trouble falling or getting out of bed. Made very well. Works with a lift bed. Love it!

I was VERY happily surprised with the sturdiness of these bed rails. The one button release makes it very easy for the Home Care Aids to use. Once you take off the rails there is only a little upright bar on the side of the bed. This makes it very easy and clear to get in an out of the bed. I used 2 on one side of an adjustable bed. The platform for the bed is made up of various sized wood(?) articulated sections under cloth. The screws that came with it did not securely anchor the rails since I think the platform is more of a composite and not regular wood. I used some #6 bolts, washers, and nuts and it is now extremely secure. Since there was two different angles that each arm support could be set up, it could be installed on one of the smaller sections.

We had to make some installment changes for my husbands adjustable bed. It needs to be secured to the frame with screws. Straps did hold it in place when the bed was adjusted. Once we did our securing it worked great.

This extendable bed rail meets my expectation. it's very easy for the Home Care Aids to use.

I had to drill some extra holes in the bracket that attaches to the base because some of the premade holes were right over some hardware underneath my base that operates the bed. It would have been nice if the manufacture would have provided some optional holes in their bracket to accommodate for this situation. Also these brackets could have been a little longer so as to make that modification possible. One other complaint is the written installation directions were a little hard to follow. They need two separate set of directions, one for adjustable bases and one for standard beds. They had them both together which was a little confusing. Otherwise i really like these rails. They seem to be well made and very sturdy. I really like the design as it isn't so long as to make getting in and out of bed a chore.

This rail wasnt as sturdy as I hoped. I got it for my elderly grandmother with dementia. She falls easily and we got it to keep her in place so she wasnt trying to get up on her own. She was able to move it kind of. It wasnt real sturdy unfortunately.

I purchased this because it was supposed to fit an adjustable bed. I researched for a long time and found a model that was supposed to screw into the. base, this is NOT what I got! When I finally found someone to install it, the return window was closed. this is a lot of money down the drain. Very upset!!!

Needed side rails to keep from falling out for my father in law. This provided what we needed and I was able to screw it into the adjustable bed base so it works with tilt features. Looks good and does the job.
