Excellent and cheaper version of much more expensive versions
This camping chair has been one of my best gear purchases. It’s lightweight and super easy to carry around, but at the same time it feels really sturdy—I’m around 300 lbs and it holds me comfortably with no wobbling or sinking. I keep it in my car so I always have it handy, whether I’m out camping, at the park, or just need a seat somewhere. It folds up compact, sets up in seconds, and doesn’t take up much space, which makes it perfect for keeping on the go. What’s great is that it’s basically a more affordable version of the REI Flexlite, Helinox Chair Zero, or the OneTigris Tigerblade—same convenience and comfort, just easier on the wallet. If you’re looking for a chair that’s both convenient and solidly built for bigger folks, this one is a winner.

Very comfortable and sturdy
this chair is fantastic. I ordered this chair because we were going to have to pack it into an event and I wanted something that would be small enough to carry without being bulky and something lightweight. this chair did not disappoint. it fit in my backpack, and I still had plenty of room for other things. I was able to walk around with this easily because of its weight. The chair is very sturdy. the material is heavy duty. it was easy to put together and was very comfortable. I felt very safe sitting in this chair. I liked it so much I ordered a second one. I also go camping quite often and will definitely be using these chairs. They are like the bag chairs only better because they are so compact.

Great chair
Sturdy and comfortable. Good relaxed posture. Worth every penny. Will be taking this out backpacking and hunting, and just leaving it in the truck otherwise. Love the portability. Case also has a couple straps on the sides. Great for strapping to a pack if needed.

Great chair for motorcycle camping!
I’ve been really happy with this chair. It’s weight and compact size. Perfect for my side paneer on the motorcycle. Set up quickly feels pretty sturdy. It’s extremely comfortable. It’s a great value. The only thing holding it back from a five star review is the folding. It’s easy, but it doesn’t register clean. But that is a minuscule issue. Overall this is a great chair. I’ll probably get another one or two to keep in the truck.

Love this chair!!!
Very comfortable and affordable chair. Sturdy and easy to put together and pack up. I can easily fit it in my backpack and take it anywhere. I use it for work since I stand all day and not only do other people use it, I’ve also had a child sit on my lap while in it. It can hold more than the required weight limit and helps with my back problems with a comfortable back part that reclines a little.

Compact and easy to use
This is a great chair that you can keep in your car and it doesn't take up much room. It's fairly easy to pop up and take down. You do have to have a little strength to attach the seat to the base, but you don't have to be super strong. Once it's together, it's very comfortable to sit in and you don't have to roll out of it to get up.

WARNING: Your kids may steal it
When my folding/camping chair was on it's way out, I was looking for an alternative. My initial browsing was a higher end version of your typical camping chair (cup holder.... maybe an insulated pouch or a foot/head rest...) but stumbled across Marchway in my searches. Ordered this and when it arrived I assembled it and sat in it. My youngest sat in it and immediately asked for one of his own. My middle child and other family members laughed, balked, and showed skepticism when looking at it. That was until they sat in it on our first camping trip. Now my kids steal this chair whenever I get up! It is very comfortable though may take some getting used. It is quite low to the ground and puts your spine in a curved position where you need to support your neck/head (versus traditional chairs which are higher and more upright). This chair takes longer to setup and putaway than your standard camping chairs, but at 1/3rd... maybe 1/4th the size? Lightweight, comes with a side pocket, the carrying case/bag doubles as another pocket, and easy to carry from the campfire to the beach. With a few Marchway products in my arsenal, I'm genuinely pleased with their products and this chair has been a hit in the family. We are looking to replace our older ones with these as they break. If/when that happens, I may pass this one on to one of the children and get a taller model for napping by the fire ;) but overall love this chair. And knowing that I can fit several of these chairs, and Marchway cots, in the storage compartments under the chairs in our van just makes the transit and packing so much more convenient. Another highly recommended Marchway product from me!

[Edit: 7/15/'25] An ask to reorder the canvas had the seller offer a replacemwnt shipped free-to-door. For this cooperation I've added two stars, and will add another should the canvas hold up for a yr or more. Ten months on, my Marchway is out of commission. Yesterday the suspended canvas comprising the seat and back dropped suddenly through one of the stanchions (see pics). From the seated position I dropped to the chair's framework, thankfully just inches below. A painful situ. was in the making at a more elevated height, say a foot or more, and maybe moreso had I been a heavier sort well beyond my 180 lbs to collapse the whole chair. Marchway makes a tidy biz. selling these units. Regard me as anathema to the common narrative its products are of quality. Hasty design is evident where the fault occurred. The canvas pockets hung over the top of the stanchions are lightly padded faux leather fabric. It is this area that suddenly failed, pierced through as one of the four weight-bearing pts of the seat. Authentic reinforced leather would likely have *not* failed. Heck, even a set of plastic washers to dampen the stress pts could've added a meaningful dose of longevity. Don't get me wrong. Camper chairs are a neat solution for portable and surprisingly comfy seating. Where this sort of purchase goes south is when the mfgr can't be bothered to engineer the little bits to add value for the buyer. For my trouble, I'll file this under "refunds."
