Philips Full Glow Energy Saver Glass B22 LED Bulb | 9-watt, 825 Lumen Full Glow Frosted Diffused LED Bulb, Cool Daylight, Pack of 4

I purchased Philips full glow bulb from Amazon on 15 October 2025. The bulbs are really good, glow fully and produces white light sufficient to light a small room. The bulbs are 9W 825 lumens frosted and diffused ( white coating, not clear). I ordered set of 4 which all costed me ₹226. There are rarely any brands which which sells full glow bulbs, philips is one. The bulbs are not motion detection, these are switch based bulbs. These bulbs are likely to last 3-4 years, as per ones I am using.

This bulb does have a softer light but it's brightness is less compared to other LEDs of the same wattage so the benefit of the glass casing or 360 effect they claim is not really sufficient.

PHILIPS Full Glow Frosted Diffused glass bulb makes it pleasant and safe for the eyes. It is beneficial in rooms where you spend a lot of time. It removes blue light that is harmful to the eyes. This B22 LED Bulb consumes 9 watts of power and outputs 825 Lumen of light. The light spreads up to 360 degrees. It can withstand 360V input voltage and a surge of up to 3000 volts. It is made of glass, so you need to keep it away from moisture. This restricts it use for indoor purposes. Even indoors don't use in rooms where there is moisture. for example bathrooms.

No difference in light looks cool

pros: full glass and metal (no plastic) eye comfort (flicker free) good brightness less heat generation full glow bulb (no half plastic like ordinary led bulb) colour temp is good like natural white cons: less energy efficient compared to international philips led bulbs. (those are 200 lumens per watt) no efficiency class rating no energy star ratings bulb lifespan not mentioned (EU bulbs are rated for 50000 hr or 50 years)
