Does the job. I use it with an IPhone and an Android. I think any issues we had were user error because I’m not familiar with casting to a device. It’s easy enough to figure out for the iPhone.

After our beloved Google Chromecast stopped working after many years, I was on the hunt for another one. I was skeptical because the reviews seemed to be mixed on this product. The box and instructions inside are in another language but it was very easy to setup regardless. Like another reviewer mentioned, you simply plug it in, download the Google Home app if you haven’t already done so and “add the device”. It was very easy to setup and streaming our favorite movies and shows from our phone is a breeze! My only issue would be that it was advertised as including a microfiber cloth and travel carrying pouch which it did not. Other than that, I am very satisfied with the product!

I have several, never had an issue with either. Chromecast or screen mirroring. Easy setup. Direct hookup with HDMI. Can be used with non HDMI input tv's with a HDMI to AV converter if the tv has Video RCA jacks.

My partner and I use this chromecast every day! I got this item for my girlfriend for Christmas. Is something she never would have thought of getting but has told me she is so grateful to have this in our home!

Great for casting to the TV. Sometimes it can be a little laggy or not work the best with pausing or other interacting with what you are watching.

I'm a MCSE, and I got had by this purchase. Always believe I wouldn't get scammed by something I bought through Amazon, but now I've learned better. Should have known as soon as I open the package. The lie; this wasn't as discribed, instead I found a box written in Japanese, I should have return it. Came with a letter that said follow these QR codes. That was my mistake. It downloaded an app called "QR & Barcode Scanner". It completely Hi-Jacked my Samsung S20 Cell Phone. My Home screen is gone, my Google search bar is gone, everything I try to do brings up advertisment after advertisement. So far I've been unable to uninstall this app. As for the Chromecast device, after acouple of hours, finally got it installed. It did 3 software upgrades. Clearly not the latest version. Secret to installing this device is don't connect to your TV until you downloaded the latest version of Google Home and open it to "install new device", then plug it in. I feel completely violated, going to be upset if I have to buy a new phone. In summary, this seller cannot be trusted.

We have about 3-4 of these in our house. We use these to do all our livestream. We didn't want to purchase new TV. My other Chromecast we got somewhere else, but this is the first time through here. So far it's working great. Easy to set up.

I have a Samsung smart TV but it casts from Samsung Galaxy phones and I have one it's old and not my primary phone. I needed a Chromecast which both my android and TV support. Yes the instructions are in another language on the box, but all you need to do is download the Google home app from the play store and it walks you through everything and changes the language on the Chromecast automatically. After a 5 minute update I was casting off my phone. You do need wifi and your phone and Chromecast connected to the same wifi network however everything went off without a hitch and I'm all good This review asked me to rate the voice recognition which I don't know because I didn't try it and probably never will

He tenido de 4a generación y prefiero este chromcast q si me permute ver en la tv mi pantalla del celular sin importar q este en un streaming y no lo tenga en la tv instalado... Solo x eso volví a comprar para otra tv... me encanta...
