I used my first pair so much, I bought a second pair. The first ones were still good, just getting filthy from sweat and work. There were brambles and prickles that needed yearly pulling. Not once did anything get through to my hands. I highly recommend these.

Not hyperbole, these may be the best fitting gloves I've ever worn. Soft kid-leather glove with extra long split-leather cuff. Roomy around the palm, with finger lengths that are PERFECT! ( So many XXL gloves have comically long boxy fingers, especially those long pinky fingers. ) The split leather cuff is just a bit narrow for full-bodied me. They will be great for reaching into tight thorn bushes, but roomier cuffs would have helped keep you cooler and drier. I plan to put them to good use, trimming large rose bushes, and replanting oversized succulents.

From comfortable material choice to good protection from thorns and ivy, these are my favorite gardening gloves. When these finally wear out, I will buy another pair. Good product.

I do have gloves for Roses already but not long ones. I have a stray cat that begs for tunny scratches and he snags with the nails, not on purpose. SO THESE ARE PERFECT to spoil the sweet thing, purs when you pet him. Got the xlg so my son-in- law can wear them too. Good quality, worth the money.

I was pulling weeds with thorns, and I would say that 98% of the time, the gloves protected my hands. I also loved the arm coverage because if you have to reach through bushes or anything, these gloves will help protect your forearms.
