KINTO 8293 UNITEA Jug, 15.2 fl oz (450 ml), Glass, Dishwasher and Microwave Safe

I was sitting at my favorite Blue Bottle cafe one day when I forgot my travel coffee cup. The barista poured my pour-over brew into this light-as-a-feather class cup. I could enjoy looking at the amber hues of my brew while I sipped it. When I got my email receipt and survey, I asked the company where they got their glasswear and they sent me the link to this Japanese product. I believe they also manufacture Blue Bottle's pour over carafes. I quickly got my cup, and love it. It's light, so I take extra care not to break it. It sure is a beautiful piece.

This is a beautiful mug. Lightweight and thin, but not fragile like glass would be. It's bigger than I expected. The downside to it is that it's so thin that there's no insulation and if you're drinking something that's really hot (coffee in my case), it burns your hand. Other than that, it's a nice mug. It'd be better for iced coffee maybe... But then your hand would freeze if you held it for very long.

I love the unitea glass cups and already had hunted for and purchased 2 small and 2 medium, before they became available on Amazon. They are so elegantly beautiful and delicate in appearance, yet so strong. They are the perfect size for steaming milk in our espresso machine. This was a replacement for one that I used daily for two years for steaming milk. Somehow, I cracked the handle where it attached to the cup, yet was still able to steam milk in it for another few months before it started leaking. They're the best!

Note that this is made of very thin glass. You will have to be very careful when handling it, as it seems extremely delicate.

This is a beautifully designed coffee/tea cup, very light! easy to pick up. I throw it in the diswasher daily. Very lovely drinking vessel.
