Great rug pad if you want to add sturdiness and heft to a thinner rug! I used this under a Loiloi rug in my bedroom and have been very happy with it. It was easy to trim to size and it adds so much more cushion to rug, making it seam thicker and more luxurious. Definitely functions great and stays in place. Worth the investment!!

Perfect for my rug. Goes underneath and gives the perfect amount of padding that I need on my rug to lie on my hardwood floor. This truly is a right amount of sturdiness and comfort for a layer of protection. Also, it really works 100% at not letting the rug on it move around the room. I will say the 1/4 inch is pretty thick. So make sure this protector is a little smaller than the rug that is lying over it, or you will have to trim it. It lay down perfectly and it had no smell like previous reviews had mentioned.

I needed an affordable, low-profile rug pad to match with my new Loloi rugs. A main requirement was the 1/8" thickness to ensure my robot vacuum could easily drive over the rugs. This did the job, but there isn't exactly much to write home about. The non-slip backing works well, but I suspect that the manufacturing and/or adhesives to bond the felt to the rubber caused some unpleasant odors/off-gassing for about a week and half. The "felt" looks like inconsistent recycled material and I even noticed some debris that looked like dirt or leaves - not enough to be problematic, but it did make me question whether other rug pad brands had better consistency in material quality. The odor (in combination with new Loloi rugs) was a bit off-putting for a few days in my small apartment. It eventually dissipated after time, ventilation, and an overnight baking soda treatment, but it was a bit of a headache for a little while (literally and metaphorically). It was tolerable but not ideal, so just something to consider for anyone in a similar situation. If I had the budget or time to explore other rug pad brands, I might consider other options due to these details specifically, but this product ultimately ended up working out fine for me.

I bought the .13” thickness which was a perfect size for my runner. I was able to trim the length to fit. Prevents movement of rug and corners stay down. It did have an odor, but went away after airing outside. Would highly recommend and will buy again.

I purchased a small area rug, approximately 2' x 4'. I knew I'd need a carpet pad because it slid all over the place, but I was skeptical that unless I got one that physically stuck to the floor it wouldn't work. However, I didn't want to risk damaging my hardwood floors with sticky glues, so I tried this one. It is truly amazing! Even with my tiny rug, it is stuck firmly in place. Thus far it has resisted being pushed around by both my cats and my robot vacuum. Highly recommend!

Well made high quality material! I purchased 9×12 ft! It arrived in a TIGHTLY folded cube! I already had fear of how it would look. Load of deep wrinkles! No way to get them out. I left it laying open in dining room for days with no success! I walked on them vacuumed them had low heat from hair dryer with no luck. Yes I can still see ripples from mat under my rug. I would have happily paid extra to have this rolled and shipped in a box!! I would not buy this again for that reason! Or maybe talk to the buyer and see if you can get large one rolled instead of folded.

If you have a Loloi rug you know they slip and slide all over the place. Loloi rugs are thin and slip as soon as you step on them. We have one in the bathroom and anytime someone used that bathroom my rug was in a different place. This grip rug pad keeps the rug from moving completely! You would have to pull it hard to move it. It now stays in its place and it’s a tripping hazard for people. It is also quite thick and makes the rug more cushion-y and comfortable! The rug pad was a bit long for my rug so I just cut it with scissors (very easy) to match my length! It’s perfect! Disclaimer: I have tried other rug pad on loloi rugs I found at Home Goods and they didn’t work. This is the only rug pad that has worked for this brand rug!

Don't count on scissors to trim - you'll need a carpet knife or heavy exacto/utility blade, keeping a piece of wood underneath to protect the floor. Satisfactory product, doing what it should.

Very good quality however I did find it a bit pricey.
