This is the one. (Yes, I know it is designed as a coffee grinder.) Easy to use. Produces large amounts of ground pepper quickly. Handles larger (4.25+ mm) peppercorns like a dream. Easy grind size adjustment wheel; no need for a screwdriver. I can remove the bottom container (the part that catches and holds the ground pepper) and grind directly into/onto whatever I'm cooking/serving, or I can lock the container on and grind a bunch into it and of course none of it spills out. The container comes on and off easily but when it locks on it does so with a satisfying click to let you know it is locked on. In addition, because its cross-section is a rounded triangle instead of a smooth cylinder, it is easy to hold firmly while grinding and doesn't slip or turn in my hand. And that is a good thing for another reason: peppercorns are harder than roasted coffee beans, so it is harder to grind them. It can take a bit of muscle power to get started grinding, but once it gets started, only a reasonably firm grip and turn is need to keep grinding as it turns out ground pepper like nobody's business. NOTE: People with severe hand arthritis probably should not try to use this as a pepper grinder, although it might work for them as a coffee grinder as intended. Because it is so inexpensive, the first thing I did after trying it out was to buy a second one, so I can keep one adjusted to a fine grind and the other adjusted to a coarse grind. That way when I'm in the heat of cooking I don't have to fiddle with the grind adjustment; I can simply grab one or the other and go to town. The only improvement I would like to see is an electric version with a powerful torque-y motor so it can handle grinding peppercorns. But that's just me being greedy. Review: For travel or periodic use- excellent buy - This review is a 4, which is the average of 3 and 5. For its assigned purpose by this buyer, it is perfect. Planned to use when out of the home and with a press coffee maker. Compact, with a travel case, easy to use, carry and store. Easy 5 here. As for expectations- exactly what I expected for the price. The rating is less as it is not robust in its feel. For home use over time I am suspect. I would have given a higher overall grade for this if there were instructions that were more specific. Took a few gentle but firm approaches to opening the grinding area and the ground receptacle. How to adjust grind is poorly explained but easily "figured out". I do find it much superior to the old spice grinder camouflaged as a coffee grinder. My wife added that this was perfect for the person (speaking of herself) who wants to try to grind their own beans but is unsure if they will do it on a regular basis.

Good grinder but it's a workout.
Not bad. Does what it's supposed to do. Takes 3-4 minutes to grind enough for one espresso so it's a little more of a workout than I expected. But the grind is good. The handle feels a little flimsy but it's held up well. And for the price, it's okay. I'd give it four stars except I probably won't use it anymore because it takes too long to grind.

I originally loved this coffe grinder
I originally loved this coffe grinder. Worked really well, was easy to use, and had a beautiful design. After 4 months of use, the bottom compartment (that has a plastic inside that screws into the top), broke off and now I can’t screw the top half to the bottom half. I would recommend the company redesigns it with stronger attachments, maybe using stainless steel instead of plastic. Now, I have to buy a new grinder, so I wouldn’t recommend this grinder.

Great grinder, fatal flaws.
Grinder works great. It’s adjustable and does a wonderful job of doing fine to coarse grounds. It’s made out of good material...except for the plastic that connects the grounds container with the grinder and bean hopper (fun to say right?) Had I had this for a few months or close to a year, I might have shrugged my shoulders and simply moved on. However, it hasn’t even been two months. Therefore-one Star and zero future coffee grinding for this still mostly intact unit with a fatal flaw. I hardly knew thee.

Best hand grinder I've ever bought!
Love this coffee grinder. I have 2 other small hand burr grinders & this is by far my favorite. Love that top & bottom pieces lock in place & has more insulation than my others. Works same, takes me about 2 minutes to grind enough beans to fill my reusable kcup. Everyone who loves coffee should try this at least once, I promise you will love this grinder & fresh ground coffee is the best. Of course you need some good roasted coffee beans too! I recommend trying kona, Jamaican blue mountain, or Sumatra coffee beans, those are my favorites! Yes it's a little more work hand grinding my coffee, but this grinder is super easy to use & adjust plus the cup of coffee is well worth the effort.

Works well, once you figure it out.
This thing is a little gem, small and light. It's not big, but perfect for a single serving (french press or pour-over). Would have given five stars but the grind adjustment takes some getting used to. It is done through the bottom, turning the black clicky thing clockwise for finer, counter-clockwise for coarser. The thing is, the limits of the adjustment are 'it won't turn any more' and 'the clicky thing just fell off'. I ended up turning it all the way in, then backing out and counting the clicks to get my desired grind -- counter-clockwise 4-ish for an expresso grind, 8 for drip/pourover, 12 for french press. Your mileage may vary. Something else the instructions don't make clear -- both top and bottom are opened by turning the section just a bit to un-latch the catches. Easy enough to figure out.

The handle is stuck.
I use this as a pepper grinder. I bought this to replace the same one I had before. The pivot screw came loose and I lost it on the last one. My fault, then the plastic started to break so I ordered a new one. The new one I got has the handle knob stuck so it burns on heavy grinding. I still use it but I need to hold the handle with a paper towel to get slippage.
