Here’s what I learned, it’s very very quiet. I only used the brown and blue wires only very simple to connect as the photo shows in the add, the two black wires I taped up individually and taped back along the side of the power wire. Also place the pump higher than the collection tank by one foot. I also bought 10 feet of of hose to pump the water out. The size of the hose I bought is 3/8 od x 1/4 id it works perfectly. I hope this helps anyone out there.

I purchased the same model 2 years ago and bought this one to replace it. It's currently attached to an 18k btu mini split air handler and works great. The newer model pump is smaller and much quieter than it's predecessor. My old one still works, it was just clogged, so now I have it as a backup.

I purchased this pump after buying another "very quiet" pump that turned out to be unacceptably noisy.This pump was installed behind a hatch inside a wall and has been working well so far. I can barely hear when it runs.

This product is incredibly efficient and very quiet, I made the right choice in purchasing this product.

I use this pump to pump wastewater from my coco hydroponic grow setup. It is the lowest profile sump I have ever seen and works great. Setup is weird cause you have to wire the plug yourself but once that's done it's fire and forget.Note to purchasers - if you expect to have much pressure buildup be sure to attach the snorkel tube, and even use a longer snorkel tube. Failing to do that can allow for leaks. The purpose of this device is to drain slow drips off of a a/c condenser so it's no surprise the stock snorkel may be a bit short for other uses.
