This is an awesome fishing rod. It is so convenient that I can put it in my vehicle if I see a little bit of water somewhere I can take it out and you'll do some fishing real quick I have used it in so many different places since I've had it it's the only one I use now. It's an awesome fishing pole for the price get one you won't regret it

I take it on backpacking trips where I know I'll be near water. Fits great in my pack, the reel an pole have done great so far, I have caught several small trout with it in streams. Can't say how it would do with big fish but seems pretty sturdy and comes with tackle for larger fish.

I received it as a gift, it quickly became my go to rod. It's easy to collapse and carry. It has great feel and response for setting hooks after bites. The folding handle is great for added compact design and easy to carry. Works great for Crappie and Bass. If the bail didn't sometimes spring too early when casting id score it a 5 for price and quality. That is my only gripe. Will recommend to not be too rough when collapsing because the tip is awful thin and could snap.

We actually keep two of these PLUSINNO combos in our motorcycle saddle bags, and they’ve held up great. The reel is surprisingly good for the price, smooth and quiet, with no line tangles so far. Storage capacity is just enough for what we need on the go, and the whole combo feels like solid value for how convenient it is. My son loves this set, perfect for a teen. He can take it on his bike and go meet his buddys to fish in the lakes ans pond. He loves the pole is actually a decent quality and folds down into the case. He can fit all his essentials.

carbon is sturdy. bought a couple of these outside of the kit to throw in the truck to pick up pan fish while out hunting down in Florida. They've held up really well to rolling around. The reel has survived also. I do expect the rod to outlast the reel on these. which isn't a terrible thing. for the price is hard to beat.

Tip broke easily. But would still buy again. Easily fixed with some super glue. Good pole for the price and it comes with a nice case.

Nice, balanced equipment for beginner. Only good for freshwater. No good for saltwater.

Honnêtement, je suis impressionné ! J’avais beaucoup de doutes avant d’acheter une canne à pêche rétractable, mais au final, c’est du solide ! Voici mes observations après plusieurs sorties : 1. Montage ultra rapide : 30 secondes et c’est prêt à pêcher. 2. Moulinet de qualité : bien au-delà de mes attentes, surtout pour ce prix. 3. Légère et solide : j’ai pêché du brochet, doré, achigan et truite sans aucun problème. 4. Étui pratique et compact : de bonne qualité et prend très peu de place pour le transport. Et pour preuve… l’une de mes prises : un brochet de 40 pouces ! Pas rien ! (voir photo)

Got this rod and reel combo pack before a cottage weekend trip. Spent about $115 all-in for the rod, reel, a bunch of lures, 8lb test line, clippers/pliers and it was all I needed and more. Must've been a nice fishing lake because I caught (and released) 31 bass over 4 days. Nothing massive but the rod and reel were very capable and never felt like they would snap or break in any way. Reel is quiet and spools nicely. Nice mix of top water lures, floating lures and imitation bait to use in any situation you may find yourself in. TLDR: Excellent value for money for beginners. Good place to start and see if you enjoy fishing. I recommend.
