Could this be used on prescription eye glasses with a glass finish?

I haven't used this on actual glass - particularly prescription glasses. I have only used it on poly watch crystals and the occasional poly CD/DVD. Given that the product specifically says it is for use on poly surfaces, and it's action is to slightly abrade and then fill the scratches with polymer I would be very cautious using it on glass, especially glass you have to see through. Given my experience and the instructions that came with the product, I would strongly discourage someone from trying this out on eyeglasses.

Does it work with hairline cracks?

This product will not repair cracked crystals, hairline or otherwise. It works on scratches only, provided they are not too deep.

Can this be used on phone screen?

This product is for plastic watch crystals. If you have a touchscreen phone it is most likely glass and there is a separate glass product that should work

What is the difference between the tubes that say "Plastic" and "Polish" on the ends?

Never even noticed that. I have 2 tubes, one has the "Poly" in fat letters and the other thin, both have "Polish" on tube. No difference in the compound what so ever. I would just say its a printing difference on tube, compound itself is probably no different than the other.

Yes, this really works!

I was skeptical when I read about this stuff. After all, how can you polish out scrapes in a poly watch crystal, right? You would need special cutter, a rouge cloth and maybe even an electric polisher. In fact, I had my dremel out, with the buffing attachment ready for heavy polishing. I could have saved my time....just a little dab, polish with a shop cloth for 30 seconds (YES! 30 seconds!) and poof! The scratches were gone and the crystal was like new again. If you look really hard and at exactly the right angle, you can see the deepest pits, but you really have to be looking for them and hold the watch just right to the light. The scratches are completely gone and I can READ my watch again without having to look around the scratches to see the numbers anymore. I was literally going to have to buy a new watch, now this one is just like new again!!
