I love the smell of this hair pomade which I remembered my Grandma used. Smell is still the same. Its soft, light, and silky quality evaporates quickly onto your scalp and you feel it immediately on your hair giving a 24-hour hair protection and moisture. As for darkening the gray, I have to update you later on that as this is my first bottle. But, I know my Granby used it to lessen her graying hair color. I believe that if it worked then, it probably does much more now.
