Yes, we put pads on it to reduce sweating.

What is the weight limit for this transfer pad?

I think it was 200 pounds. We have a 180 pound patient on it, it’s holding up good.

How much weight it can handle to carry?

The specifications does not really state how much weight it can carry, but I guess it can safely lift/slide a person up to 200 lbs or more. Hard to really tell the maximum weight. Speaking from my own experience and judgement.
