I tried one of the brushes for acrylic. It holds the paint well and goes on nicely. For me I thought it was a bit soft to work on the canvas with the acrylic. But I am used to using stiff brushes. Just a consideration if you prefer stiff brushes. I love them for watercolor, and haven't tried them with oil paints though. Great quality brushes. No stray hairs falling out.

Overall the brushes feel nice but not what I expected. The wash brush has a acrylic handle, not the velvet touch handle which was disappointing. The two round brushes came with bristle guards but the wash and angle shader did not.

Good value in the set. The brushes ate perfect for an adult & I used them for my very first watercolor painting. Happy with the amount of water the carry. For a newbie, gauging water application is something I am just learning. This brush set helped me to control water & paint application.

Pricy, but I love it. I usually use cheap brushes since I just assume it doesn't really affect my paintings, but wow. I really like these brushes and it's mainly because of the fact they hold their shape so well! Cheap brushes will fray and split but these will stay in their same shape and because of that it's so easy to paint sharp corners and stay in line. I have small brushes to help with small details but using the corner or the tip of these brushes are so much better (given that a too small of a detail is better drawn in rather than painted in.) I basically only just use these brushes from now on. I'm afraid I might starting spending extra to have better quality brushes. It's not that my painting has gotten better, because I still achieve the same painting with the cheap brushes, but rather, the process became much more comfortable and fun.

I used them yesterday. I feel happy with their performance. I have one other velvet touch which is my go to brush. I believe these different sizes will be very helpful.
