Just what I needed

Lightweight, easy to move the latch, improves the look of my shed

I had a split 9 foot vinyl gate installed beside my house. The first latch we tried was a slip bolt. That did not work out because of the amount of wind we have. I would latch the bolt and later on in the day or the next morning, the gate was standing open. (Not good). I ordered this Gate Latch Lock which I installed above the slip bolt lock and it is great. You need to install the piece with the swivel latch first and then check to make sure the holes line up on the other piece in order to put a padlock on the latch. It is very sturdy and when installed correctly, works perfectly even without inserting a padlock in the holes that are predrilled. Just wish I had ordered this one first and I could have avoided all the fuss with the slip bolt.

I purchased this latch to secure the doors on a salt storage bin. The latch is quality built and was easy to install. I especially like the pre-drilled holes where you can add a padlock. I'm comfortable the salt bin doors will stay closed, and my salt will be secure.
