I have read almost every book Alan has written and he has never let me down in giving me new ideas. This book just like all of his other books provides massive upside to anyone who reads it and applies it. I do have to laugh as i was reading the book I could hear Alan saying it. The book is 100% Alan. it is a must read for anyone in consulting or any form of business development.

Excellent book for those who seek to start a consulting business on any field. Is has plenty of tips and ideas on topics like negotiation and pricing; How ever, it goes really light and superficial on others like client acquisition and the consulting work itself. How ever, It definitely worth reading. If you are really serious about consulting, this is not the last you’ll read from Alan.

In his sense of self - humor that is, he makes perfect sense concerning paths to take and those to avoid. I have a collection of Mr. Weiss books, all heavily color-coded with bookmarks for quick referencing. Mr. Weiss's books are interaction guides for your success. A must-read for anyone who is looking to become a consultant or professional business developer.

Most anything that Alan Weiss writes is worth buying and worth reading. His books have helped me so so much.

I read half this book from the library and knew I would need my own copy Alan Weiss is going to be a future interview. I love the insight because as a high level consultant you sometimes feel alone and ready this everything was spot on.
