If you have hooded eyelids how does it work? Are they taped to your upper lid?

I haven't bought the product yet but they're not meant to be worn with makeup. You can but it wont always look great. They're meant to be worn for at least three months straight. After, the tape will cause a permanent crease so you will no longer need the tape and your hooded lids will naturally look more open. I recommend videos for reference. So watch Michelle Phan's "How to even out your eyelids without surgery" video and finally Smitha Deepak's "HOODED/DROOPY EYES: Do you need A lid tape?" video. These will show you how to place the tapes and explain it more in depth.

Can my husband wear these instead of surgery?

They are easy and painless to put on and wear, and unnoticeable on the eyelid. However temporary you may want to try them to see how they improve your look and how you feel about the change before going for something as drastic as surgery. They stay put on me until I use makeup remover on my eyes.
