Cable comes with it . 3 hrs to fully charge , gives 8 hrsto 10 hrs use . I usually have a USB socket nearby , so it can be charged when in use .. I predict the price will go up , like the Spark 40 . **Q: How long does the battery last??** A: Approx 8 hours of continuous playing **Q: Does it play acoustic and electric and bass guitar straight away, or does it need setting up????** A: You can plug in a guitar and play right away using the preset amplifier settings. Getting a custom sound is a bit more complicated. Once I had a number of settings I liked, though, I didn't need to mess around with the app again. Integrated USB-C charged battery is a life changing feature comparing to Boss Katana Mini and its AA batteries. Spark mini can store 4 different preset which can be edited only by the app on your phone or tablet. It is quite simple to do it, but I prefere to also have access to the physical gain and EQ controls on the amp. You have enough amp models and effects to build your tone and access to the library with a lot of premade presets (even by some famous guitarists). In conclusion this is a nice small practice amp even if slightly overpriced.
