Old tech come back
I just picked up an older camera that uses CF cards and needed a reader to download with. Great value, easy to use, no long cable to get tangles. Good answer for an old problem.

Does the job
It reads CompactFlash cards, is immediately recognized in Windows, and works with no issues. The plastic feels a bit cheap, but it does the job.

Maxing little memory reader. My Wi-Fi doesnโt always work, so transferring files, and photos were challenging. But this reader does the trick.

DO NOT BUY. Consistently corrupts CF card.
***DO NOT BUY*** Corrupts my CF card almost every time I use it. Took me far too long to figure this out, too. I thought it was an issue with my camera (5DMKII and 5DMKIV), but switched cameras and corruption persisted. Then assumed it was a PC issue, but multiple computers presented same issue: unformatted card. It wasn't until I noticed my old CF reader next to this one that it dawned on me--this reader is corrupting my CF card. I mean sure, if you take pictures and don't care about them, buy this thing, but if you like losing all your pictures, go right ahead. Otherwise, buy a quality one instead of this thing.

Pefect for reading CF cards while on the go

Serves a good purpose!
I needed a way to move files from my very old HP Jornada handheld computer to anything else. Its only ports are IR, Serial and a PC card slot. It does have a Compact Flash expansion slot though. So any internal files can be copied to a compact flash card. This reader worked great with all but one card that I had. It even connected perfectly through an OTG cable to my Galaxy Note 10+ and moved files in an instant. (To be fair, they weren't large files...) It has made it nice to be able to use that little computer as well as my old NEC Mobile Pro 900! (It also has a Compact Flash slot) For the money, this is a great little reader.

Messed up my CF card
I bought 2 of these and the first one I unpacked made 2 of my CF cards unreadable. I have been manipulating CF cards for 10 years so unlikely an operator error. Will buy another brand.
