WOW! Just received this trunk today. Ordered it in Kelly Green. Absolutely gorgeous! I'm blown away by the quality of this thing! Legit blown away, people. It has things on it that I didn't even know I wanted. I don't even know where to start. This thing isn't even in the same universe as the trunk I took to college 30+ years ago, yet somehow I find myself wondering if a time machine was used to go back to the 1950s and bring this back from that decade...back when things were really built to last. Or maybe elves in Santa's workshop spent their blood, sweet and tears making it for the best little boys and girls that were heading to the university. Was it dropped off by aliens? I have no idea. It has metal handles..not.cheap plastic. The wheels are quality wheels and so easy to.put on! The inside is fully lined with nice looking birch. The outside is beautiful and has a texturized surface that won't easily show fingerprints or scratches. There's a hinge that keep the top open. Its bigger than other trunks. Heavy duty for sure. I'm so glad I spent a little extra on this trunk. This will not only last my son through college, but will probably last a lifetime. Oh, there's also a lifetime warranty. He could send this trunk to college with his own kids one day. Love the fact that you can put your own padlock on the trunk and there's not some cheap lock on it with a key that will get lost over time. Could not be happier with this trunk. Makes me want to go back to college at age 50! Update after 1st year of college: This trunk held up beautifully. Lots of room for storage. Very easy to move in and out of the dorm despite being full of supplies. Hands down the best purchase I made for his college years.

The quality was as advertised, well built and sturdy. Love the removable wheels feature. Was a huge help getting my son moved into his dorm, and now he has a secure place to store his valuables and it looks great in his dorm. I hope this will be an heirloom that he can pass on to his college kids hopefully quite a few years from now! Highly recommend even though it is one of the more expensive options.

My grandson is off to college as a freshman. The trunk is ideal for his dorm. It's deep inside. The wheels are designed with precision thus far and come individually wrapped in its own keepsake bag. The fact that they offer a variety of colors is an Awesome bonus. My firstborn daughter The mom to the grandson has already claimed it to add to her decor when the time comes and he no longer needs it! It's beautiful I'm told. As I've seen only pictures sent by them. They live in another state! It was a gift to my grandson and THEY are both well pleased! " Good Job" I was told.

This trunk is very high quality & HEAVY which is why I ordered the one with wheels. The trunk came without wheels but I was able to get ahold of customer support in less than a minute. Brittney was so helpful and sent me a wheel kit to attach to the trunk. The call took a total of 2 minutes. Will definitely be a customer for life!!!!!

This chest is very sturdy, heavy and large. The colors are beautiful. I have the powder blue one and the inside is bare wood. I’m thinking of lining the inside with decorative paper or fabric. I bought it to store my Nana’s knitted items in. A cedar chest was too big for my needs.
