Easy to use good for beginners

After so many years of using manual wire strippers and utility knives to strip wires I am impressed by how easy this tool strips any wire regardless of size or number of conductors. Clean removal without a scratch on the conductor. No more skinned finger tips.

I've used strippers like these in the past, mostly for automobile wiring. I purchased these to aid with custom lighting modifications on a job that we recently sold, and was most impressed with the functionality of this wire stripper. Especially for use with stripping a 3-conductor flat cable with 20gauge conductors. Did not tear the insulation off the conductors under the cable sheathing. Two of my apprentices were intrigued and each purchased a pair. If it provides a clean and functional result, without causing issues, and increases efficiency, it's a tool worth keeping in the tool bag.

I have been using an older pair of wire cutters/stripper/crimper pliers for many years. I recently bought this automatic wire stripper to do some automotive accessory wiring work. I opened the package, inserted a wire, squeezed the handles, and got a perfectly stripped wire in a second. They are well made (like the crimpers I bought from the same company), time saving, and compatible with multiple gauge wires without adjustment. The insulation is removed cleanly. Definitely worth buying.
