Purchased this for my slider door because I was tired of the terrible plastic window vent that I have been using for years. I was constantly taping them and they still leaked hot air back into the apartment. This new slider door seal kit is amazing. I was skeptical due to the fabric it uses but it works so perfectly I am kicking myself for not buying it years ago. Once I cleaned the areas where the velcro will be sticking to the framing and door, cut the velcro pieces for the top, bottom, and both sides and attached to the door/framing, attaching the seal kit took 2 minutes and it seals so tight, nothing is getting through. The most important part for me was assuring I could still open my slider at night when the AC unit was not in use and that is working perfectly as well. It is easy to tear away the velcro only on the slider door and open it and then close it back and seal when needed. I am so happy I purchased this and have absolutely no complaints. The hole for the actual vent tube works great, seals with the built in crimping string and then I used the velcro strap that was included for added strength and boom, no issues.

I've purchased this window seal multiple times, and it's one of my favorite accessories for a portable air conditioner. I actually use this for venting my resin printer instead of a portable AC, and it works pretty well for that purpose. It does a good job sealing around the exhaust hose and helps keep fumes from leaking back into the room. The material feels durable, and it’s definitely better than trying to rig something together with tape or cardboard. Installation was straightforward and didn’t give me any problems. My main complaint is that the seal still isn’t completely airtight unless you spend some extra time adjusting everything carefully. It works well overall, but for the price I think the design could still be improved a little.

I needed to replace the shield that came with our AC unit that we lost in a move. It was shocking how much they were charging for the bulky plastic ones like what we had before that were a nightmare to deal with. This thing is genius. I set it up myself with minimal input from my judgemental cats, had it installed in less than 5 minutes. The reviews talking about the velco strips not sticking to the window, I didn't think it needed to be spelled out to thoroughly clean a surface before applying a sticker, but we all learn different things growing up I suppose. No draft coming through, it's secure, minimal noise coming through but it's fabric it's not going to be silent. Recommending this to everyone I know with a standing AC unit.

Easy install took about 10 minutes. Works great. So much easier than connecting panels for my slider. Seems to be holding up great.

Got this for my 3D printing ventilation setup and im quite pleased with it. Gave the Velcro some time to stick on before actually using and its staying on pretty well, though there's one bit that did come off but that was just due to poor surface prep so that on me. Its really straightforward to use, just stick it on your door frame and then put the hose through the hole and tighten it. Its winter so the air outside is quite chilly but because its made of polyester it acts like a windbreaker and I was really surprised by how little back draft came through. Overall really nice door seal, while my use case was different its no different from other and im real happy with this thing.

Velcro is strong and the idea of the design is great. However, the double sided tape is weak and will not stick to the window frame. Fell ofg within hours of first use. **UPDATE ** changing this to 3 stars because the seller reached out quickly to offer troubleshooting and a resolution. I declined a new item but I think their customer service warrants a raise on their rating.

The instructions weren’t very clear, so I had to redo it a couple of times but i think its a really cool design and once it was on it fit perfectly. Don’t know if I would recommend for a sliding door without a screen because of bugs.

Fantastic product. Very easy to install,took me about 10 minutes. Unlike the usual hard window kits that never seen to fit properly and usually require some engineering to install. Fits snugly, no gaps and the strap hold the hose firmly in place. Come with enough good quality velcro for 2 installs.
